  • I remember playing on the same bill with these guys at Lou Anns when they were These Few!

  • Same studio where ZZ Top recorded their early albums including Tres Hombres, quite historic.

  • Wow - Ovid, I can't believe I found this. Thank you for uploading. It brings back many fabulous memories of seeing you and the F.O.B. in concert. Those were the days! Again, thank you.

  • Very interesting, excellent cover...

    Thank you!

  • Awesome footage. I live in East Texas and have heard about Robin Hood's studio in Tyler for years but never checked it out.

  • very cool - great insight into the sixties vibe

  • It's remarkable that this footage has survived -- made well ahead of its time, before MTV & the era of music videos. It captures the band's genuine creative spark in the recording studio too. Terrific post!

  • Great video! I'll have to call Robin and let him know about it.

  • Bud Buschardt resurrected this footage, which was shot by Gary Jones for WFAA director Jim Rowley.

  • Wow, this is cool. I recorded some singles with The Novas at Robin Hood's studio in Tyler, TX in 1967 and it's great to see flashes of that room and the mixing board again. I'm glad that someone was smart enough to take all this film footage at the time.
