It's remarkable that this footage has survived -- made well ahead of its time, before MTV & the era of music videos. It captures the band's genuine creative spark in the recording studio too. Terrific post!

Wow, this is cool. I recorded some singles with The Novas at Robin Hood's studio in Tyler, TX in 1967 and it's great to see flashes of that room and the mixing board again. I'm glad that someone was smart enough to take all this film footage at the time.
