I also liked the blank stare that tarkov gave the dead brute once he killed it, simmular to what some PTSD marines do when they kill a man. Anyway, bungie did a very nice job and i would hope for more live action shorts like this one in the very near future.

As many live action trailers that Bungie helped coordinate to happen, it's really disappointing that they don't finally make a movie. They have the resources, the costumes and special FX are incredible. They need to get over whatever is stopping them finally make one! They've made already from Halo 3-Reach at least 6 different trailers, all in the Halo universe.

No, the Halo film is NOT in development.

The director of both the live action Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST trailers and District 9 was in charge of making the Halo film. He was kind of like an apprentice of Peter Jackson and he wanted to go off and work on an independent project (District 9) when the Halo movie started going off track. After he did that, he decided he wasn't going to fight to save the Halo film. It's stuck in limbo.
