i bricked my psp 3000 trying to hack it. the psp wasnt all the way bricked either, like all i would get is a white screen when i turned it on. after turning it on and off for a few minutes i left it to sit there 4 looks lol (gave up on it) at least until i seen this vid and it worked. the psp booted and looks like it works fine. try it

Your a psp ignoramus my good friend.

PSP bricks are caused by changes in the FLASH0 Where PSP collects PRX's to mount the XMB and features.

The only thing this would fix is a CRASHED psp. Which could happen when a game freezes or some kind of homebrew freezes. Files on your psp do not cause the brick unless they alter the FLASH0, and deleting files that DID alter the flash0 would not cure a brick.

@AllButJustForgotten People who had this work from removing the memory card had a memory card error, which stops XMB from loading (you'll notice the MemCard light flashing) This could be cured by just removing/inserting the Pro stick duo. Those who plugged in the AC adapter just had a crashed game in suspend mode, and it would have been fixed had the psp been properly turned off then on.
