Why does this not support the 1st Yamaha "Network" Receiver the RX-V3800. Being an early adopter & $2000 for the receiver means nothing? Denon's receiver the 3808 came out at the same time supports web or app control. Sounds like the RX-3800 was a beta product & the RX-V3900 is the 1.0. I've been a Yamaha customer my whole life, my next purchase might not be.

Hi trddddr, This App will not work with the V1900 since this model does not offer network content access nor network control.

Please confirm that this will not work with the V1900. i'm fairly certain it has only Bluetooth and no WiFi.

We have a new App that was just release that will offer control on that model... Look for Yamaha AV Controller app...on the iTunes App Store...
