I will keep it on my wishlist from Flute World for now. I have upgraded to a Powell Signature headjoint and really like it, but am still interested in what the extension can do for me.
I actually had my foster extension longer than I've been using it. I got it from a masterclass with Keith Underwood from the Wiliams Flute Company. I had been using it on and off but recently I've spent a lot of time with it and use it every time I play. I do recommend a foster extension as it is easier to upgrade your sound without buying a new headjoint but I found that the set back to getting used to it is that it adds quite a bit or resistance to your playing.
