Nice......very &%$*( nice. The rendition of "10 Years Gone" is extraordinary. The studio version is amazing. I think we can all agree that Zep's live performances lacked in the recording technology of what we have today. As some of these other folks say they would like to see you live, I would like you gents to have the opportunity to prove you can do it live. I would check it out.

This is the best I've come across - the singer has RP's inflections and tone amazingly accurate. Guitars and drums are well done. It's obvious time and energy went into this.

Thanks! I appreciate the comment coming from such a talented drummer as yourself. It's a Ludwig kit I bought new almost 20 years ago. That was the first kit I ever bought new, all the other kits I used to own were mismatched and off brand. I am still contemplating buying a Ludwig kit from the 1960s-70s. My kit sounds ok but still doesn't have that Ludwig sound that they are famous for. Seems quality went down (IMHO) in the 1980s.

Trust me I'm just an Ok drummer. I don't toot my own horn. The kit in my videos is a late 70's LUDWIG Rocker kit. Except for the snare and the 14" floor Tom. The snare is a custom built snare I had made by a Canadian Drum co. called UDRUM. BUT This old LUDWIG of mine is in bad shape. I mainly bought it cause of the LUGS. There all in excellent shape. But you're right ludwig went really cheap in there kits in the 80's. But now there they've really come back and producing a good quality kit.

Don't underestimate yourself as a drummer. Everyone is different and we all have different playing styles. I need improvement and I need to practice more than I do.

I'm amazed at the amount of talent here on you tube. What a great medium for people to express their ideas and talent! On the Ludwig drums, I really spend A LOT of time tuning my kit. It's very,very finicky to tune and goes out of tune easily. I agree with you, Ludwig has gotten their quality back nowadays.

I'm just opposite. I don't tune my LUDWIGS very much. The shells are so banged up and the bearing edges are completely shot that they won't tune. Strange that they sound good on video. If I wasn't committed to using UDRUM drums I'd Probably use LUDWIG.
