Lucy was a legend in Her time When they decided to do the show on TV they didn't want Desi. She said She wouldn't do it without Him. So smart even then. . Groucho also had a hit TV show called You bet Your life. There is an old movie circa 1940 called Too Many Girls and that is where Lucy met Desi and they decided to wed.
