Mine was two tone deep chestnut brown and gold...i bought it when it was 5 years old for $4,200. Unfortunately the Massachusetts snow and salt finally did it in....just rusted out badly. You are right about that but the Cutlass was a less expensive car, could be the reason. I am an Olds man myself. But, the GP had much more style and muscle than the earlier Cutlass. I love both cars equally though. Owned 3 cuttys and one Gp...

first off the term g-body refers to the designation of the platform that was started in 1982.. a 78-81 was considered an A-body but a 78-88 was the same chassis. the sheetmetal change took place from 80 to 81 so even thou and 81 and 82 look the same one is an Abody and one is a G-body... you dont know what the hell ur talking about
