I have a question about the Speck SeeThru. I walked into MacForum (Apple Reseller) in Gothenburgh and asked for a Speck shell. I was given the answer that they have stopped selling it due to the MBP getting too warm by using it. I haven't had that "my MBP gets shit warm" problem on my copy, but I still wonder. Does it get so warm as they say? I will just do the basics, mail, browsing the web etc etc. thanks! All the best, Jonathan
well about the speed issue you have 2 remeber that your diamond back is wired so unlike the Mighty mouse it doesnt have 2 deal with the lag with Bluetooth thats why i dont reccommend a wireless mouse unless u travel a lot or are at a starbucks.
I can see that...but Ive had other wireless mice that seem to respond pretty quick..and using some third party software i was able to get the mighty mouse's acceleration a little closer to what I was used to.
Um, yes most were the USB Cordless ones from Micro$oft.
Ive visited the Novi store a buncha times, Ive also been to the one in Ann Arbor once to get a case for my iPhone. I live near chicago though and theres like... 5 or 6 apple stores in a 30 mile radius. Orland Park, IL being the closest to me.
Do you know anyone who uses Adobe Photoshop CS3. I'm looking to get a 2.6 GHz macbook pro with 4 gig of ram and I'm wondering how well it will run on it.
I use CS3 ith no problems on my 2.6 MBP, but most of what I do is audio recording. Just last night I had my macbook pro processing several channels of audio, with several virtual effects on each channel (real resource hogs) and I had zero CPU or memory issues. I am running 2gb of ram.
The MBP are really the best you can get for mobile audio/video/graphic production
what a dumbass. I have a macbook pro too.. for about 2 weeks now. its not very hard to use... pretty simple. maybe his fingers are too fat to right click properly
I have played a couple games on it.. Bioshock and Supreme Commander.. performance seems good. Not Stellar.. but im sure the Mobile Geforce platform is going to be the bottleneck here.
macintosh
it just works
well, except for the help files, lol

yes the MBP gets warm, but the case doesnt seem to prevent it from cooling, or increase how hot it gets. The main vents are not covered at all.

did the other mice have an adapter? that might be the case since the apple mouse is all bluetooth happy to see you (almost) got it to work.
Btw glad 2 see another Novi Mac Fan! i just hate how our store is sooo god damn tiny (compared to somerset)

That will run PS CS3 like nothing, especially with the 512 8600 dont worry and with the 4gb of ram you will be FLYING
