  • BRAVO!

  • @DavidofSteele

    Thanks a lot ;-)

  • It´s very precious!!

  • Thanks

    Val

    Val

  • Thank you Val!You are right! music is the most important thing. Best Regards. Raúl

  • Hello Val,very good performance! I`m studying this piece on the guitar and my version has the title "Fantasia 33", is the K. Scheit edition, so is it really a Fantasia or a Ricercare? I guess in those times both words meant almost the same... Thank you for posting!! Raul

  • Hello Raul,

Yes both words have the same meaning, and we often find one in a book and the other in another book for the same piece. Even recercar can be ricercar, ricercari recercare... But music is really nice indeed ! Good music

    Val

    Val

  • es algo maravilloso!!! bravo!!!

  • Val: thank you for recomending me Nigel North and Robert Barto. I also heard Paul Odette and Hopkinson Smith. I enjoy a lot Nigel North. Well, probably you are not a genius, but you are doing a very good job. Congratulations. Five stars again. Please, forgive my poor english.

  • Well, welcome into the magic word of lute music ;-)

    Val

  • A masterpiece ! We are eager to hear your next piece, Dear Mr Val ! A plesure for the ears !

  • Beautiful! it looks hard!! great playing though.....

  • Thanks, yes, not really an easy piece but deserves the effort...

    Val ;-)

  • Fantastic

  • Merci

  • Thanks a lot. It is also among my favorites, with N51...

    Val ;-)

  • Hi Val!

Great playing again. You make it look so easy. I know it isn't. Amazing :)

    Regards, Wilfried

  • Bonjour Wilfried !

Yes this one is not really easy... but I worked on since... a long time.

In june I'm going to see a new romantic guitar... ;-)

    All the best,

    Val

  • Great music. You play it with taste and feeling.

    Trond

  • Thanks a lot Trond ;-)

(I love this piece... and I'm working on N34, la sua compagna...)

    Val

  • Just beautiful and so relaxing!Thank you for sharing.XOXO

  • Merci beaucoup ;-)

  • Val,

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais ce morceau vraiment m'a touché profondément. Il est si doux, pourtant vibrant. Merci, encore, pour tout le travail fin vous avez signalé.

    ----

I don't know why, but this piece really touched me deeply. It's so gentle, yet vibrant. Thank you, again, for all the fine work you've posted.

    Vern

  • Thanks Vern.

I think Da Milano's music is always touching. I just try to serve this music the best I can. And my pleasure is to share the music I love to play and listen to.

    Val

  • Hi Val!

This I like! da Milano always makes me transport to Italy in my mind... I can feel the age and time he lived in when I hear this!!

    Very good!

    Merci!

    Peo

  • Thanks Peo, to take time seeing my videos, and commenting. I glad you appreciate.

    Best regards,

    Valéry

  • very good, bravo!

  • Thanks ;-)

    Val

  • Great as always Val!!

    Gerald

  • Thanks Gerald ;-)

  • If I would be able to read music, there is no doubt in my mind I would give this isnstrument a try. On ther other hand, tablatures where initially for Lute, I guess¿?

    Beautifull, as always.

    Pascal

  • Hello Pascal,

Yes lute music is in tablatures, you're right. You can play lute music on a guitar from original tablatures (just tune your g string to f#)

    ;-)

    Val

  • Hey Valéry,

Sorry to bother you, but can you recommend a web page for these tabs?

    Merci d'avance!

    Bien à toi,

    Pascal

  • That's lovely. The tone on this instrument is so beautiful, I've only once played lute but I wish to have more experiences with this instrument in the future.

  • Yes it is a magical instrument... (but not so easy... neeed some work ;-) but it is the same with all instruments, non ?

    Best regards

    Val
