You guys have a long way to go as songwriters. The brunette also needs singing lessons. It's not that she's terrible. It is that those are not pro quality vocals. They lack tonal focus and conviction.

So you need to work at it and be more critical of your material. Listen to Joni Mitchell for inspiration and not Avril Lavigne and Nora Jones (totally overrated).
