Cruel Intentions was brilliant it allowed SMJ to show her talent though if you watched AMC you knew she was a brilliant actress, allowed Reese Witherspoon to be seen as a woman after being a young adult star, allowed Joshua Jackson to play someone other than Pacey and also shake off Mighty Ducks. Allowed Ryan Phillipe to become a bankable star, and ultimately was one of the best teen movies of the last 15 yrs. So of course Hollywood had to ruin it with sequels.

This isn't saddest movie I've seen, but for some reason, it's the movie I cried the hardest at. I still remember seeing it the first time, I was sitting behind my two girlfriends on the floor, trying so hard not to cry that when I finally let go, I erupted out of nowhere, scared the crap out of my friends, and was sobbing so hard I couldn't speak.
