@superpower612 The plates are rubber, they're made to be dropped. I think after a triple with 315kg he's quite at liberty to dump the bar rather than walk it back to the racks.

It is raw, those are neoprene knee sleeves to keep the knee joint wram, they are not as thick/tight as sleeves, as evidenced by the fact you can wear them through an entire workout comfortably, versus wraps that you take off immediately after a lift and can't walk properly in.
they are knee sleeves you dumbass. they add hardly anything to the lift, they just support the knee. it about safety rather than artificially inflating numbers.

That video of eduardo guadamud is strange. Is very hard to believe EG made 2 deep reps with 310 with no belt, no suit and an ordinary wrap. I'm in serious doubts about that.
A powerlifter uses a super-wide stance which doesn't let them squat as deep. Many do that because the squat suits will let them get that extra 100-200lbs or so and it's using the suit effectively. They also don't have to walk the bar of out the rack like the IPF and international competitons usually make the lifter do.
Misha is a weightlifter and to the best of my knowledge, the IPF's rules are different in that they allow less gear.
