@makeithappenbetter52 Our old DC couldnt come up with better schemes to maximize him impact on the field, after offenses started to adjust to him. Willis did set a new carrer high in sacks with 6, and what makes it immpressive is he got those sacks from rush between the C and G. The only time I seen a successful blitz from the out side for him as when he sacked Freeman. We needed a new DC who can use his ablity to rush the QB and we got lucky with Vic Fangio who learned from Dom Capers.

P.Willis cant hit anybody if the QB is allowed to take a 3 step drop and fire for an easy completion. So much of Willis performnace is dependent upon our D-line getting pressure, and CB covering long enough for Willis to get in position to make a play. Our Cbs sucked this year, and it is where teams attacked us the most. We just need better CBs and OLBs.
@Khower2 when u r as great as him teams scheme to make sure they block him an he is still doin his thang its not gonna be as much as it used to be cuz he is gettin blocked by 3 or 4 players every play he is still doin great

Not to mention the fact that teams are game planning more for Willis, I'm talking about double team, not running up the middle as much things like that. Hopefully 9ers get Willis more help on defense especially in the secondary department, and Willis comes back fully healthy.
@Khower2 Yeah he's hurt, he doesn't have good defensive linemen who make sacks happen and they won't in a 3-4 defense. When the 49ers switch back to the 4-3 defense and get better super star secondary players then you'll see Willis fly around like a mad man. Have you even done your research? He was leading the team and league in tackles this year. He's the least of your concerns as a fan. The 49ers need to replace their entire secondary and Nate Clements can move to safety.

Bro there is only one defender I ever remember seeing breaking a P.Willis tackle, and thats was the Giants starting RB. The only player I remember seeing out run him was C.Johnson last year. Since hes been in the league two of the best runners hes face more than once was held to limited production. A.P has never gotten a T.D or more than 80 yards against him, S.Jackson gets shut down completely. He could also cover R.Bush 1-1.........BEAST!!!!
