Europe seems to have more of a philosophical direction without memorizing the rituals, while US seems more oriented to charity and memorization. "Scottish Rite" is headquartered in Scotland and they issue OFFICIAL "Scottish Rite" lodge charters for every nation. "York Rite" is headquartered in York, England and issues OFFICIAL "York Rite" lodge charters for every nation. What you have seen in the U.S.A. have been "CLANDESTINE", NON-CHARTERED LODGES! IDIOT!

England's Grand Lodge has some womens orders operating in the British Isles, which it does recognize as regular. Second, U.S. lodges operate under the EXACT SAME STANDARD RULES as THE EUROPEAN LODGES. There have been regular women's and mixed men/women lodges around the world since the 1300s. At one point, men gave women exclusive rights to operate ALL lodges, but I'm certain that your "vast knowledge" forgot that part of lodge history. CAUGHT LIAR!

I have seen first a lot of regalia pictures and they differ, according to the order they belong to ( just like an army unit has its own colours). Second, what you do in the lodge is different. Europe seems to have more of a philosophical direction without memorizing the rituals, while US seems more oriented to charity and memorization. @oneromantic I may not be the wisest and most informed person, but you know well there are many obediences, many orders and many more Grand Lodges. First they are divided by what ritual they follow. Scottish, York or French, to name some. And since that info is all online, please check i.e. Grand Orient of France, United Grand Lodge of England and so on? I am not trying t convince you that know it all. But if you disagree make a point or behave at least like a mason.

you are absolutly right, and even then not all 33 degree mason actually know the master plan, my father is 18th now and will be heading for 30th in his next step, yet when i tackle him on the root of freemasonary, he actually didn't know about the knights templar, yet he did investigate, and in discovering there is a chapter you can take all about the KT, he went in for it, and thanks me for my outside knowledge.
