They truly know there's nothing they can do, but they're trying to kid themselves into finding some ray of hope in time to save the market... It won't happen. So, when the Dow finally dips below 7000--lets say 6995--it will then start to very rapidly plummet. This could happen abruptly one day, but it will certainly happen next week.
