How long does it take for a bird to get to know you? I just bough a cockatiel like a week and half and he still rejects me:( , all he wants to do is sleep and don't allow me to touch him yet :(
Here in Finland the minimum cage size for a cockatiel (according to the law administrators) is 0,75 square metres (which means almost seven times your cage size). My cockatiels have travel cages larger than that. I don't blame you, but the breeder should most certainly know better. I know it obviously isn't the law there, but cockatiels fly very much in the wild and should be given the same opportunity in our homes too. :)

Yea I used the target stick to train him to turn, I was surprised that how smart these birds are! I think at the begining of training using a Clicker makes everything very easy...

That is so sad. This guy passed away from cancer! So sorry to hear that. He was a great trainer.

he looks like he has one of his wings clipped, i don't know how he manages to fly carrying a weight too

that is the standard cage for cockatial, I bought it from the breeder along with my bird, so my bird is very happy with it :)
