These comics are pretty rare now. Being a niche genre, when they do turn up, they're pretty cheap, but man, there's not very much floating around. They never got a lot of attention outside Japan, and most stores discarded obsolete Pokemon books when the craze met it's end. They're great though, more mature storyline and a lot of nerd jokes :) (i.e Star Trek, etc). I love my copies!

i stopped watching when they wrote out jessies arbok and james weezing that was the final straw for me. those guys r classics like ashs charizard who became a reoccuring character in the johto season which again i didnt like.

and it was also the debut of in my opinion one of the worst characters ever and most annoying- jessies wobbuffet. meowth is the only pokemon in the motto. wobbuffet just doesnt sute jessie. i hated that jessie and james care for their pokemon i love team rocket and their orignal pokemon u might have guesed. but the fact that jessie accidently traded away likitung for wobbuffet and did nothing to get it back and james let himself be bullied into trading victreebel was a joke.

@pexx1000 i hate orange islands it had nothing to do with the games regions it most of the episodes were dull and it wasnt a good follow up to the original series the absence of brock was a joke for that bull ass shit of a character tracey sketchitt. and i agree gary and ashs rivalry was brilliant. i dont like the new rival paul in the dp series. i also hate the johto series because it was the departure of misty, jessies likitung and james victreebel all of which were wrote out badly.

@checkerknights2 EXACTLY! and im a also a huge pokeshipping and rocketshipping fan since i always loved team rocket jessie james and meowth not bad just have had bad stuff happen to them to go bad i think they need a happy ending like in the manga. ash and misty were like the duo and getting rid of her was a mistake i hate may max and dawn and brock isnt brock anymore without his original voice same with ash and team rocket they even changed the team rocket classic motto. its just ridiculous.

Everyone think that biggest mistake is Misty's 'retirement' and terrible look of new pokemon and I agree, but there's one more person I really miss in new pokemon and that's Gary :/ He was Ashs' biggest opponent and their arguing and rivalry was just amazing!!

It's kinda hard to understand that with all that advanced technology we have today they aren't able to make a decent episode of pokemon or any other cartoon...

@checkerknights2 i found some of the manga in my garage(old as hell), and i have to say i impressed with the manga compared to the anime, Ash personality is much more comical like the gags you see in todays animes. would have been cool is they left pokemon in the manga.
