@TTT1776 The only problem with using torrents etc is that you are downloading information that required a lot of intellectual work (programming software, games, special effects in movies etc...). Why would people keep working if they would not receive any reward for it? Want to hear your view on this please ^^
@logmeinwtf Each category of IP would have different business models or might not even require a business model to have the media created. Music: /watch?v=Jgbx_kw2cKE Movies: /watch?v=Xxg0QLegMr8 Games: /watch?v=0O9BxAFseEc Really media creation and research can and would keep on happening with out I.P. but it might require creativity. Also watch: /watch?v=N7hNycmG4YE
WoW! Nice to see someone from the States (Are you?) addressing this issue. SGAE is the ultimate legal scam in Spain, and we are used to see crap like this all the time. They even try to get money from copyright-free works! Thanks for the video. It kinda cheer me up today. Flattred!
@TraNWhiZ And torrent sits cost a lot of money to run so making some money to cover the bills should be ok. provided it can be proven in court that he wasn't making more then the bills cost.
Yes the person shouldn't go to jail but downloading is killing industries. Music gigs are so expensive as it's the only way artists can make money. Yes I download but I still don't agree with killing the industry. I download old songs thats it no films no games.
