Those horrible housing projects should not be saved. San Francisco has done away whith this kind of high density low income housing. It just doesn't work for the people living in them or for the larger community. New Orleans deserves better than these crime incubator buildings. Stoping better housing is a bad idea. yeah, i would. these units did not get flooded tho. they are sitting there high and dry as the day they were built. look at the water line on other videos of the same units. the water did not go inside. these are FDR WPA solid brick construction. this is a pork barrel deal for developers.

st bernard, lafitt, and dw cooper are three of the many slated for demolition. some of the units had some water, maybe a foot or two, and because they haven't allowed anybody in to clean, there is a mold issue for sure...
