  • I love seeing setups like this, guys like this may be on a budget, but he's a great guitar player, he uses equipment that's in his price range and makes it sound great. I'd bet any money it sounds a lot better in person too. Great playing my friend! Keep them coming!

  • You said your letting me take the challenge to see if my ears can hear that this is the brown sound... I think you need to take the challenge and make sure your ears are okay. This sounds no where near as good as a Marshall

  • Sounds thin and it's lacking that pushed amp aggression. I had combo amps that sounded better than that. Not knocking it but it's from Eddies tone.

  • I love how he can play Panama and show us the finger at the same time.

  • nice sound!

  • most players use too much gain I notice. This is a bit too much but close. some of the shit I see on here is over the top. I don't even know what some guys are trying to play.

  • @flyhi94 yeah, but because they are from different manufacturers, they have slight differences in the required bias settings.

  • Sorry but this amp sounds more like a 5150, which uses 6l6 tubes as opposed to a marshal that eddie used in the early days, with EL 34's.

Hear the low mids in this one... it's just different.

To get a Marshall tone you need more highs and less gain... maybe get the bugera with EL43's.

  • @CarlosGTR this amp uses 5881..the infinium version of this will be able to take any tubes....5881...el34...6l6...the infinium will be better than the original

  • @1withguitar

5881=6l6. Just the different ways USA says it opposed to the UK. 5881-UK. 6l6-USA.

  • @CarlosGTR wrong, the 6262 or 6260 would be the 5150 / 5150 II.

  • @CarlosGTR but what u have to remember is this bugera has 5881's in the power section same as a jcm 900, so i agree that it doesnt soud like an early evh tone, but it doesnt sound like a 5150, theres not enough gain from the 1990, and the power amps valves give it a different sound

  • @5150stephen I see... so what kind of pre amp tubes does this bugera amp use? Also, I've been told that the downside of those amps are the repair parts... wht's your take on that?

  • @CarlosGTR its still 12ax7's/ecc83's but in the 1990 there only 3 or 4, i cant remember, i have a year old bugera 1960 i bought second hand and so far no complaints, love it to bits

  • @CarlosGTR

its a clone of the jcm 900!

  • @CarlosGTR

    It's the brownsound baby!

  • great tone man:) i have the v55 head, thinking of getting the 1990 too.. have you had any problems with yours yet??

  • that sounds really good!!! i have a mesa mk5 now, it is not looking good for it's future lol!

  • What are your settings? if you don't mind.

  • what was the gain set to?

  • whats the name of that song?

  • @Derrick7777777 Panama - Van Halen

  • nop the head is just sitting on a 600$ coffee table.....

of course its going through the orange!!!!!!

  • how much were the orange cabs? or are you even running it through the orange with the bugera?

  • amazin
