Hi Dan, it would help you to watch existing films to see how they shoot their space scenes.

The scene looks quite flat. Are the elements on individual layers? would be gd to create a parallax effect

Shaking of the camera does not make sense, unless you are trying to imply that you are seeing this scene from a spaceship, or that some force is causing the camera to move. When nothing appears after the camera shake, it does not meet that expectation, leaving the audience hanging and bewildered.

Hi,

Adjust contrast/brightness to pop the sense of deep black space.

The camera shake left me wondering what had happened.

There should be some visual clue to why the camera or ship is shaking.

Try CC sphere and some earth texture maps. Andrew Kramer @ video copilot does some nice work, particularly with his earth zoom tutorial.

Nice! It would have been awesome to have the sun peek out some more, or even all the way out. You do have quite a bit of shaking, I'm not sure if you intended on it but it gives the effect of a "rumbling" sunrise! :P

The camera shake is a little much. Maybe tone it down, make it a little more subtle. And the sudden stop and fade is weird. Have it fade the camera shake and the clip. And maybe either turn down the opacity of the background or make it much smaller and have the stars and galaxy smaller. other than that, looking good

the stars are WAY out of preportion to the earth, the camera shake is to violent and too quick, and im not sure why there is sound....

Pretty good, keep working on it! I would not let the camera shake if i would be you, in my oppinion the sun should represants a nice softly light, so no shaking. but effects are great, but one more detail thing, let the earth rotate, because than it looks more real. but great work!

The animation is okay, but what is with all the shaking? In space that shaking would never occur, it makes no sense. The part of the Earth near the bottom left doesn't get bright, you should fix your lighting. Other than that, it's okay.
