kids these days just care about what tricks are done, not how they look. its not necessarily, a bad thing, you just need to realize that the older generation of skateboarders paid a lot more attention to style and flow than nowadays. Keith Hufnagel was a hugely popular skater, basically just cruising around san fransico, but because he looked so good doing it, people respected him. that would never happen with todays kids.

They can land all their trick like crazy, but all those body parts not doing what I like isn't skateboarding. When I played S.K.A.T.E with my friend he landed a switch Treflip, told him he had to redo it because his hat fell off.
