  • lol, so elaborate? why not send to schmuks in feldgrau in there with lugers and just off 'em?

  • Wonder Woman can thank Steve Trevor for both of them being in this predicament. When Nazi agents capture Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, instead of listening to General Blankenship, travels to Germany and tries to rescue her. Though Wonder Woman escapes, Steve Trevor is not so lucky;he is captured by the Nazis and chained up inside the cell, and Wonder Woman has to return to Germany and rescue him.

  • @Girardifan trevors such a fag! gets WW all trapped and shit

  • I don't know if I would go so far as to call Steve Trevor a fag, but it's true that he always got into trouble and needed Wonder Woman to rescue him. Then, the one time Steve Trevor tries to rescue Wonder Woman, he ends up being captured and Wonder Woman, after already having escaped without Trevor's help, has to rescue him!

  • @Girardifan yer analysis is correct tho his impulsiveness imperils both he and WW if not the whole usa which is at war then

  • In the comic books, there are quite a few stories in which Wonder Woman is powerless because her hands are bound by a man and she is rescued by Steve Trevor. It would had been nice if the producers of the ABC version of the TV show had done an episode in which Wonder Woman is captured by a Nazi agent who weakens her by removing her magic belt and Steve Trevor not only rescues Wonder Woman but also helps Wonder Woman recover her magic belt so that she can regain her Amazon powers.

  • @Girardifan yeah but would have gone against the spirit of the times: bra-burning and hear me roar '70's.

i for one want to see a Wonder woman no matter how campy rather than another female character powerless and needing a mans help.

  • On the ABC version of the TV show, Steve Trevor is supposed to be a great American war hero, but the fact that Trevor is constantly captured and depends on Wonder Woman to rescue him makes this hard to believe. If the producers had done a couple of episodes in which Steve Trevor rescues Wonder Woman, viewers would be able to take his character more seriously and not laugh every time he gets captured.

  • @Girardifan dude this is a show about a 2500yrold woman! belief is suspended. besides people dont want the steve trevor show, they want WW

  • On "Adventures of Superman", there were several episodes in which Superman is weakened by Kryptonite and is rescued by Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, but the show never became "Adventures of Lois and Jimmy". If the producers of "The New Original Wonder Woman" had done an episode in which Steve Trevor rescues Wonder Woman, the show still would had been about Wonder Woman, not Steve Trevor.

  • @Girardifan ive seen those episodes yer talking about and they are the WORST ones in that black and white series.

  • Remember the ABC episode "The Bushwhackers"? In that episode, cattle rustlers lock Wonder Woman in a jail house and remove her magic belt to weaken her so that she cannot escape. The orphans from Mr. Hanley's ranch recover her magic belt and golden lasso, knock down the door with a battering ram and give the stolen items back to Wonder Woman. For Wonder Woman, having to be rescued by a bunch of kids is more humiliating than being rescued by a man, especially a great American Army hero.

  • @Girardifan no since shes a woman, a Wonder Woman, its natural for her to be helped by little children.

  • That may be true for a normal woman, or a female superhero who doesn't have any powers, but this is Wonder Woman, the most powerful woman in the world, who's stronger than Hercules, having to be rescued by a bunch of kids because the rustlers have removed her magic belt and stripped her of her Amazon powers. Actually, I don't know what's more humiliating for Wonder Woman, having to be rescued by a bunch of kids or being captured by the rustlers so easily in the first place.

  • @Girardifan no its charming when its a bunch of kids warms the cockles.

  • @Girardifan @Girardifan no its charming when its a bunch of kids warms the cockles.

  • The best thing we can say about Steve Trevor is that at least he cooperated when Wonder Woman rescued him. In "Judgement From Outer Space", Wonder Woman tried to rescue Andros from the Nazis, and would had been successful if Andros had cooperated, but Andros refused to leave, giving the Nazis the chance they needed to remove Wonder Woman's magic belt to render her helpless and take her prisoner.

  • @Girardifan well WW can break steve in half so he no doubt does what she says

  • @Girardifan Only in this TV show did Wonder Woman's powers derive from wearing her belt. The original conception of Wonder Woman, as portrayed in countless comics books, have her as possessing innate super strength, speed, and stamina that cannot be stripped from her by removing any garment.
