that is such a great dane thing to do. we have a great dane and she has done that many times. i can't even count the number of times I have said the same thing your girl says, "i hope she doesn't fart"

haha, being an owner of a Dane I have to attest to the paint peeling quality of their flatulence, that being said they make up for it with the "dane lean" and my favorite it when he walks up to me sitting on the couch and lays his head on my should looking for an ear rub. Not quite a gentle giant "yet" but working on it... :)

That's funny, I was out of town for a week and told my wife to bring our Dane in at night while I was away. Had to sleep with the windows open let me tell ya! Had no idea a dog could fart that bad. She and her sister have always been outdoor dogs, but they're really well mannered indoors. Do they make good indoor dogs??? Anything at tail height doesn't have a chance i'd think....

They make great indoor dogs as they are very gentle and social. They sometimes have separation anxiety from those they love which makes them difficult to leave alone when first training them.

@hkanimalspeak Just don't be as bad as I was. I used to show dals and read eggs were wonderful for their coats. Well they are buttttttt when dals get nervous (especially on car rides to the show in the dead of winter with the heat on and windows up) they tend to be a tad bit GASSY! I am hoping to get a dane of my own soon and I love yours it that what they call a merlaquin or is that just a harlequin?
