Probably the best single commercial ever produced.
Not sure Jobs would want himself included in an "updated" version of this clip, though without a doubt, he should be. But I would guarantee you that IF he agreed, he would insist Bill Gates be included as well.
Because... glorify or vilify them, if it were not for Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, YOU would not be watching this clip, right now.
farewell steve - it was a pleasure and honor to see you, to follow you, even from the distance.
you accompanied my coming of age as a human being and as a computer maniac and when i finally had the money i bought apple devices and have stayed with these great products ever since.
@edwould123 Einstein's discoveries have had a direct impact on everyone, he redefined physics. Without Einstein the fields of medicine, mathematics, and physics would not be where they are today. All three fields undisputedly have a direct influence on the common man.
I've seen this video many times before and never really thought about its meaning, but now when Steve is gone, It's really touching me, I almost can't keep myself from crying.. R.I.P Steve, you will be truly missed
@DreddDwarf he made more than "phones" do your research, or are you the type that only gets education fro a video... if so i recommend "silicon Valley! This is a homage of people who "changed the way we live" in which Steve did infact do!
@DreddDwarf I would be fascinated to hear how you think Einstein's (hugely important) discoveries have any direct influence on your life whatsoever. While you tell me, I'll be wondering if your using a personal computer, no doubt enjoying its GUI, or enjoying writing on the move with a tablet or a smartphone.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. Steve, you really are the craziest of all. We'll all miss you, rest in peace and see you buddy.
isn't it fantastic that we live in a world where a person does not have to wait even one minute or get anyone's permission in order to change everything.
RIP Steve Jobs 1955-2011. He has changed the world. We lost one of the greatest visionaries of the last century today. May you make heaven just as "Magical" as you made earth.

@dredddwar Steve jobs created the first personal computer, has over 200 patents, and changed the way the world operates!

Steve was a great guy and Id like to think that this cheesy video would have made him puke.
chrisofnottingham 4 months ago
@chrisofnottingham this is originally an apple commercial Jobs made for apple, to say he would find it insulting is an insult to him.
iRecordAll 4 months ago
Jobs made mobile phones so comparing him to these great people is a massive insult.
Einstein was a great loss to the world but Jobs won't even be missed, Apple will go on ripping off fanboys just the same as it always did.

He stole more innovations than those behind phones.
Please, don't stop me there, if only I could educate a fanboy.

I use Sat Nav on my phone and in my car.
The time dilation due to relativistic affects would make satellite location so inaccurate that it would be unusable..
Now fuck off you ignorant fool.

@edwould123
PS fool. xerox invented the GUI, Apple even admitted to stealing it.
Fuck me, you fanboys really are as deluded as the creationists.
