just about every singer is like that.

when they record, their voice gets edited somewhat, even if its only a little bit. but it nonetheless makes a difference in how it sounds.

and u have to remember how long chester's been screaming. it wears his voice down a little bit over time. so thats where the raspy part comes in.

but compared to other singers, hes amazing live. its better when ur actually there. trust me.
