The coolest thing about this trailer (and the game) was the use of outdoor sets! Like when Grace is out and about in the snow. Most if not all FMVs at the time were like Wing Commander 3... actors in front of blue screen.

Yeah me too! And I was so impressed when you could play even the smallest of choppy quicktime movie trailers. I used to show them in school to my teachers even.. and they were even more impressed. Good old days! :)

Why don't they RE-RELEASE this game. Remaster the FMV/Cutscene footage to 1080p in Blu-Ray quality. Still keep it a simple point and click adventure title and make the music 5.1 surround sound. They don't have to add anything new just hi-def version of The Beast Within. I think that would make the experience PRICELESS and the WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED! Fuck all that Windows 95 pixelated shit, you know they still have the shot footage just REMASTER that shit and RELEASE IT and I'll buy!!!

It was shot on video cameras, not film, so it could never be 1080p. Production values were far below the standards of even the least expensive films.

In my opinion GK2 is the best game in the series, acting can be bad in parts but overall awesome game. Great music too.
