Guys I tried over and over to post a comment about trying to save Tabula Rasa, an effort that began in December. No links in it either but you tube won't let me. I have no idea why. "Save Tabula Rasa McGillicutti" will bring up the site. I hope it will let me post this.
TR is not a FPS. Its a sort of combination between many types, but it has nothing near FPS. As you should know, FPS is First Person Shooter, which means you see only your weapon. This is 3PS (3rd Person Shooter), where you actually see yourself. And it is actually a MMORPG, just that its in 3PS format. I agree RF is nice, but its not as good as TR.

The idea is that Earth faced a full on invasion force, we used the portals to escape to fringe worlds where the Bane aren't as focused and we can regroup and fight on more equal footing. Partially shown here but not explained is a huge meteor shard ship kind of think that they slammed into the planet as a base and started terraforming with, if you played C&C3 think of an over sized Scrin tower or the control towers from Half-life2.
This MMORPG got it's combat system right for once.
I mean, sure after you hit around level 40, You'll be a break but otherwise it's the best MMORPG I've ever played. I don't get that hollow feeling anymore like when I played World of Warcraft.
It looks good, but i'd rather stay with the big WoW community first than be a pioneer in another game and i will maybe try out some other MMO's when they really start going...
honestly the game is pretty fun at first then it quickly dies. gets very tedious you kill the same enemies for almost the whole game. just harder on every planet.
No character depth, community is pretty dead, the servers are pretty dead actually there is only 4 of them and most are low population all day. haven't tried pvp but heard some good things about it.
Over all this game is only good for a month or two. other than that its not worth it.
What you can actually get a trail for it?? I can't seem to find one, their site doesn't seem to say anything about it! I really want this game it looks action packed and I need somehting new but I obviously don't want to waste money if I don't like it

If you like the Sci-Fi theme and want a game with a lot of action where your own actions matter.. try Tabula Rasa.
And don't expect anything as easy and cake like WOW or similiar stuff. Expect to be in a war... it is loud and it is tense... brings a lot of fighting...

after playing WoW for years now, i can safely say that this game is much more fun. its a hybrid of FPS and RPG. you have so much fun you don't even realise your just leveling, which is TOTALLY NOT LIKE WOW. graphics kick ass too
but then a friend told me release was awesome. I'm kind of skeptical after Hellgate: Disappointment. but judging by the replies to this, looks like i'll give it a shot.
Its a story (not very interesting, but quite fitting) and and the scenes are well chosen. Id ont know how the game is actually, but it looks intresting...
lol... i think u cant compare cause wow is fantasy stuff and this is sci-fi... some fantasy fans wouldnt play this one and scifis perhaps dont like wow that much... but I would try that game, the prob is its EXPENSIVE and I heard some bad things about!
but what I read before in PC magazine sonded great, attraktive and special!

This MMORPG got it's combat system right for once.

It's a terrible game, like a shallow single player game.
It's just run and gun with no point or end game.
If you are no good at FPS games you might find this fun for a week or two.
