hi all. my friend paul davis....SO good to hear this...he was from a small town as a kid in Laurel Ms!  my heart was in a million pieces when i learned he died and of all places rush hospital in meridian ms. that's where we met at the Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival in it's good ole days!!

Thanks for posting all of these songs. I'm checking them all out. I never heard many of his early work. I had a chance to "chat" with him on the yahoo group "the Paul Davis Mystery Group" a little over a year ago. He was a very humble man. I'm so happy that he knew there were people that loved his music and he left us still wanting more....

paul was a pretty nice guy. i got to do the sound for him. on a couple of apperences he was very nice. nothing to say but good things bout him. its hard seeing someone like him go.
