I wish Wake was a real "rookie" 27 dang only if he was 21 or 22 :(.... any who I think Vontae Davis isnt as good as Sean Smith, and shouldnt get the starting role over smith but other then that i really like our d right now other then the deep ball part of the game the rest is great and talk bout best rush d in the nfl back to where we were 7 years ago i like it

also I don't think wake is considered a rookie because he was part of the giants organization but he didn't stay long so I don't know...

Wake was cut by the Giants in June, he never even played in the preseason. You're a rookie without playing in the regular season a certain amount.

I must say, I appreciated the dead serious cat killing comment. Just out of curiosity (I realize it's early) what positions do you think we should draft? I'm thinking draft safety VERY early and RB at some point to replace Ricky. Keep the vids coming, I always appreciate another phan's perspective.

I don't see a need for a back early, unless Ronnie isn't re-signed. The biggest holes are WR, ILB and S.

X-rays came back negative on Dolphins DE Phillip Merling's ankle, but it's unclear when he'll return.
He's in a protective boot, but it's reportedly only a precaution. The backup end has eight tackles, one sack, and a fumble recovery through four weeks.
