wildernessoutfiters did the same thing, he used pancake mix adn a drink mik to make a mufin/cake.
i think they can stand like *450F!

I saw it, I think he got the idea from me. You gotta be careful, they will withstand non direct heat, any direct flame or heat will warp them.

I assume that they do not brown, but I could be wrong. How do you check them to ensure they are done?

That's using the ole noggin'. I will definitely be trying this. I have not purchased the squishy bowls, but I think I will do that now. Nice to know they have more than one use, and that is all the excuse I need.
