Just test rode this bike at the International Motorcycle show in San Mateo, it was badass! I've ridden R1's before but that was my first experience with the cross plane crankshaft. I'm a Ltwin kinda guy but damn this bike made an impression on me. It was like if a Vtwin and Inline both made a baby. A mode was freakn legit! Nice bike man, I think i'm getting one!

@rub2de2 I would say it depends on your riding skills and how tall you are U definitly would want to get a bike where your feet could touch the ground comfortably, i'm 6'2 so it's fine for me, the bike has alot of torque so you would have to careful if your a new rider...

Pretty sweet. Looks so much better with out the semi's exhaust coming out the back.. Very nice. I was thinkin about getting a newer R1, but I love the body style of the 40-06..
