Much as I love this song, I have to admit that it is less of a vehicle for Grace Jones' talent and more of a vehicle for Trevor Horn's talent. Listen to Art Of Noise or most of Seal's work and you'll hear a very similar sound. Grace has a great voice and character, but you can't really say that this song is any reflection of her songwriting ability.

I prefer to look at all songs as paintings where the artists are collaborating by adding their own take on colour, shade and tone.

Every partnership contains one more dominant member but this doesn't make the art any less beautiful.
