it is a beast we cut alot of good size hardwood and it will cut a 22" oak full boom and has no trouble with it we were a little scared as to why nobody had bought it but took a chance and beside some welding on the head and a little tlc the thing starts and runs almost every day with no down time
That things a beast!! makes my 753 look like a tonka! i love how everyone always tells you how to cut wood and sends negative comments on what THEY think you are doing wrong and have no videos uploaded of themselves the EXPERTS uploaded. they should keep there negative comments to themselves if they dont have any videos of themselves... BTW nice video!
Curtis you hit it right on the head of the nail. As for dozer that skidder id further than it looks. Plus we have had no problems workin that close. and for minnesota no reoccuring problems just the occasional hydro. hose. But I can't tell you how the timberjack would work out all i know is that is a good machine and it can handle alot of wood in a day.
Any reoccuring problems or anything known for being a problem with these machines? Looking at a Timberjack 850 (same as the Deere 853G) and just wanna known if there is any weak points to watch for.
ha id say worn out wonder y skidder is so close to much tracking and turning y not put trail trew the wood especially in a clear cut...... skidder is far enough away.i alot of times work the same trail traveling by the feller buncher to get a twitch
ok thanks wondered if they were worth fooling with

Why do you keep going back and forth, you will have the undercarriage worn out by the time get to the end of the strip and its nonproductive.
