  • Wow. This is definitely the most informative rabbit video I have seen on YouTube. You've put so much info into one vid. Very well done. *applauds* lol

  • @ikutsu2001 i couldnt agree more. so many people just asume they can stick a rabbit in a tiny cage and call it a day, as where this is a prefect example of caring for your bunnies properly and giving them the space and freedom they need

  • ok i luv ur cage and ideas but ur camera work is f***ing retarded. u gave me a headache for the freakin rest of the day other than that cool

  • It makes me sigh how she pointed to the side for the the description I miss old utube sometimes :-

  • Wonderful video! It's so refreshing to see someone who is educated about animals and is actually invested in their well being. There's way too many people who don't know enough about their rabbits and they're just an impulse buy.

  • what did you use below the bedding?

  • Would a 6x8 C&C cage be enough for 2 rabbits? My parents are divorced and I'm going to keep them at my mom's house. (I alternate houses every 2-3 days)

  • I was going to make a c&c cage for my rabbit Whisky, how many grids did you use per cage? :)

  • Great housing! Just one question.. Why are your rabbits not in pairs?

If they are all neutered then they will be less aggressive making it easier to bond them together.

  • Very hady, I'm planning on making a rabbit hutch, but mabe a bigger cage too!

  • What a great idea if you have the space! My rabbits live in an out door enclosure and sleep in a hutch inside a shed. Rabbits are incredibly intelligent creatures and need stimulation, it's nice to see you have provided this for your buns. Don't your rabbits get on do you house them all separately?

  • can you order the cubes in the uk?

  • I really like this video i myself have some bunnies four of them are rescues and one is from a breeder. When i first got into bunnies i saw this video before i got my first one, it was alot of help and now all my bunnies r living happy healthy life! Thanks to u i an going to sub in a bit. I have one question though, can i give my bunnies like a rag to play with? I never knew that answer so i was afraid to give it to them. Thx again

  • I love your rabbit cage! But is it hard to clean?

  • Where is the 6 by 3?

  • were did you buy your rabbits from i have been looking every were

  • How many bunnies do you have?

  • Mine has a cage : My room LOL

  • I have that same carrier.:)

  • I LOVE your cage setup, you had some pretty good ideas

  • What you call a hermit crab cage is not a hermit crab cage. It's a guinea pig cage. The cage that you have for your rabbits, not everyone that has a rabbit has those or can afford those so yah.

  • @WebkinzGal256 im able to make a 4 by 3 foot cage including a loft for my bunny for 20$ which is cheeper then the little cage she is useing as a hermit crab cage. you can make that cage by buying cube organizers at target or walmart for like i said 20$ very easy

  • I have 3 rabbits and a hamster. The rabbits live outside and run around my garden freely. I use my garden shed for 2 of them and 2 floor hutch for the other 1. I believe need rabbits as much space as possible because they are adventurous creatures and it stops them from getting bored of staying in the same place their WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE. I have a vid of my rabbits on my channel. I'm 14 and I had rabbits all my life and I love them

  • im getting a bunny and im doingthe same thing but not using cavy cages, im using the cubes from target

  • nice review!

  • for the door part, can the rabbit hop up on the door mat? it look so tall for the rabbit to hop on it... i want to buy rabbit, so i want to make c&c cage, and i want to make 2 level without ramp, pls reply thanx!

  • your such a good mommy

  • I really love your organization, its amazing! Good job, your an amazing rabbit owner! Your bunnies are sooo lucky! Awesome job and keep up the good work<3

  • god damn, big room for the bunnies :D!

  • i have the same rabbti carrier as you. the "vent" on the top is actually a seat belt slot so you can buckle in your bunny so its safer in the car. how much money does it cost you for all of this per month? i want to get some more rabbits in some more c+c cages. i already hav 1 but i was wondering if i could afford more

  • i think your cages are to big.they shouldnt have a whole room to there selves... or should they!??

  • If I could afford that I would have all of it !

  • Wow ur prolleh the most organized rabbit owner i've ever seen o_o

  • Im getting a rabbit soon and can i say that THIS VIDEO HELPEDD SOOOO MUCH i didnt know a lot of the things that you were talking about before but know i do so im soooo much better prepared NICE JOB

  • awsome rabbit cage must be a bugger to clean :)

  • kewl cages...how many rabbits do you have?

  • @horserider27100

You really should freshen up your knowledge before you go and post comments on peoples videos, little girl. She is just improving her pets living space. That has nothing to do with animal abuse. You clearly have no clue what the term "Animal abuse" means if you think that this is what that is.

  • Comment removed

  • @horserider27100

Rabbits need room to run, jump, and play. Expanding their home like this is simply an amazing thing to do. Not animal abuse. Animal abuse is skinning the hair off animals and eating them. I Mean, How would you like to be kept in a small confined cage that you barely could run around in? Bet you wouldnt like it at all. l:

  • @CassyLaTease quit saying stupid things and you have not been studying rabbits for 17 years and you are not in vet school so stop lying and i know plenty about rabbits and i dont need to prove it to some loser that spends their whole day on the internet so you can get over it and get your facts right :)

  • @horserider27100

    Your still typing smack?

I Never said i studied rabbits for 17 years. I Have been RAISING them for 17 years. So I know what rabbits needs are, doll.

    I AM in vet school.

    My 5th year, dear.

I specialize in small pets and dogs.

Unlike you, I don't spend my whole day on the internet. I actually have a job. I actually go to college. So quit acting like an immature teenager, trying to pick a fight with some stranger on the web.

    GROW UP!

  • @CassyLaTease no im not typing smack im typing the truth XD and plus i dont spend my whole day on the internet haha nice copy back......u think i need to grow up? when someone replies to me i replie back thats just the way the earth rotates u need to get over yourself and quit acting like ur soo cool and know all about rabbits because ur fighting over a stupid video u shouldnt have commented to me in the 1st place bcuz u are just trying to start crap so shut up

  • @horserider27100

Sorry to burst your bubble and all but, You know NADA about rabbits health and/or care. :)

  • @CassyLaTease and again shut up because you are just trying to start crap and im tired of you leaving retarded comments i know plenty about rabbits i have alot of ribbons and certificates etc. so please just quit replying back ur just wasting ur breathe about stuff you have no idea about

  • @horserider27100

    My breathe? Lol. Nah.

Only typing to some person on a worldwide web. :l

Oh and trust me I know plenty about rabbits. I Raise them. And have been raising them for 17 years, dear.

Matter of fact, I'm in vet. school at the moment.

I'd rather not argue with some immature teenager. So say all you want. IRDGAF.

    Buh-byee. ;)

  • Hey thats so cool I have hermit crabs and I'm getting a rabbit

  • Im working on a cage very similar to this one for my two buns Thumper(Dutch rabbit) and Caddie(Albino lop ear). I Think that every rabbit or really every small animal deserves to have a nice, big amazing home to do binkys in hah. The way I see it is if you wouldnt live in a small caged in area then neither should your buns! (:

I Simply love your cage design! Very spoiled! I Would love to be them heheh. (:

  • I would like to make a similar setup ( 2 story 3x2 or 3x3) not as large as yours =;) but my main concern is how sturdy it will be even with connectors & zipties holding it together...I purchased storage bins @Target & my mini lop Mocha tends to pull on the grids on her cage & on the gate that keeps her in a certain area when she's outside her cage...I just don't want it to fall on her after I finally set it up...=:(

  • omg how do u do the cleaning? i will love to make such a big space, currently im just keeping my fluffy in a play pen

  • are you sure that it's "1/4 cup for every 5 pound of rabbit?" my netherland dwarf is only 2 /14 lbs. and i give her 1/4 in the morning and 1/4 at night. also, the little green toys look like rubber. are you sure those are safe?

  • My rabbit hates C&C cages :( . Did you ever have them in hutches with runs attached?

  • WOW. That is a lot of work for rabbits. Yeah they do seem spoiled and happy but they don't really need all that. And your rabbits don't even have to be spayed and neutered. If you don't want to breed them, then just keep them in separate cages. This might sound mean, but I really think you are putting too much work and money into this... sorry but they're just rabbits! Anyways, nice set up lol...

  • @HoppyDaysRabbitry

Excuse me, but you obviously missed the whole point of this video.

Revolutionizing rabbit care so that it is modern, humane, nurturing, and so that it meets their true needs - not those set by lazy, unkind owners who would rather spend their time not giving a darn what condition, both mentally and physically, their pets are in. And you obviously don't know anything about rabbits.

  • Rabbits who are not spayed/neutered are much more aggressive and territorial, they spray urine, making for a harder clean-up, and they are EXTREMELY prone to cancers of the reproductive organs. If you really care about them, you WILL have them spayed and neutered. I adopted these rabbits, which is a vow to care for them and provide them with the best I can, and that it what I'm going to do.

  • I, and those who care for their pets, will invest in their pets health to the fullest to ensure their happiness and health. Just rabbits? These are lives that I'm responsible for, and I take that very seriously. Please, read up on some proper animal care and educate yourself before you post another comment on my videos. Thank you.

  • To think, I just wrote a 1,000+ word comment that I had to split up into 3 sections to be able to meet the video comments 500 character limit. Jeesh. Please, think before you comment everyone! (:

  • @CarrotCrunchinBunnys actually i disagree with hoppyDaysRabbitry, i think its great that someone puts time and effort into carng for their animals. i would love to be one of your precious spoiled babies ! they are sooo lucky to have you !

  • @HoppyDaysRabbitry it's a choice. you don't have to, but it's better if you do. and your spending mony, but it's to protect them. it's like if your parents got you vaccanated as a baby. it's a choice, but it's the better choice. and i like how she put the rabbits toget her. the won't be lonely. :) sorry, i agree with CarrotCrunchinBunnys. :D

  • @HoppyDaysRabbitry +You don't ALWAYS know what gender it is..

  • @HoppyDaysRabbitry Well, you obviously dont know how to care for rabbits, they DO need to be spayed/neutered as it can cause womb cancer for females and the male can be very aggressive and have problems with him too, i only have a female so have not researched about males, but just taught you dont know your stuff..

  • @HoppyDaysRabbitry And what is so wrong with spoiling them? What's so wrong with loving children? Nothing! What's so wrong about loving your pets? Nothing! How would you feel if you put in days and days of time, along with money, and have somieone say to you "Hey, that's cool, but why on earth would you do that! What a WASTE! PShhh!"

  • I've had my rabbit for a few years now, she has a large cage (but she's hardly ever in there unless we are not home because we have properly "bunny-proofed our room) I love watching videos like this just to get as much information and ideas as possible. We are very dedicated to our rabbit and her proper care because we do love her dearly. So thanks so much for the video, You've given me a few more ideas and such, so thanks!

  • how many rabbits and other small animals do you actually have? :-)

  • @Jblovelover 3 rabbits (my only small animals), 2 dogs, and one cat. :)

  • @CarrotCrunchinBunnys i love this video cute bunnies :) im getting a baby bunny for my birthday this sunday ^_^

  • thats really COOL

  • cool me too love cage my is called gizmo only 5 months old

  • did u say hey every bunny?haha lol .__.

love ur cage, its great to see that people are caring for their bunnies correctly!

  • are you webkinzlover93?

  • @dogluver2004 Haha, no I'm StuftAnimalLove :)

  • cool cage. how long does it take you to clean it?

  • i lovee this video its sooooooo helllpful!!!!

  • wow this is so cool! my cage for my mini rex is so awesome too! ill make a video for you of it...how much did it cost to get your rabbit spayed? i have 2 get gizmo spayed...she is a girl but when i got her i thought she was a boy. how do you pay for all this stuff? how much did all this stuff cost?

  • That is very neat. If I had the space, I'd totally do that for my bunny. The poor thing is stuck in a store-bought cage, much like what you use for your hermit crab.

  • at the beginning u said hey everybunny

  • i thought pine oils were bad for animals?

  • lol in the begging it sounded like u said "hello every bunny" instead of "hello every Buddy"lol

  • Great job!!! I love it when people actually RESPECT their pets and treat them like family members and not novelties that are kept in a small cage or outside where they are suseptible to predators or extreme weather conditions. You seem like a very caring, responsible, knowledgeable young lady! Your parents should be proud! :)

One question though..isn't pine litter bad for the rabbit?

  • You are soo lucky =[ Im 11 yrz old and i LOVE PETZ! My bunny waffle is the best eva rabbit. The onlly bad thing. She lives outside. I REALLY WANT HER TO LIVE INSIDE!! But Mum keeps on saying she'll stink and it will be horrible. My mum LOVES waffle.( Long story) But still she won't let her live inside. I plan dad to build a condo for her and I will pretend its for outside....but really its for inside.

I told mum i will clean up the poop and Waffle is litter box trained. PLZ HELP!!!!

  • @minirachie i know you weren't asking me but I'll help anyway :) I had the same problem so i decided to save and buy a cage for "outside" then i set it up inside to show them how it would fit and told them if my room started to stink they could move thumper back outside, they agreed and now thumper lives inside my room! :) just make sure you clean the cage because they do stink :D

  • @minirachie what you say and what you do is what your mum and dad wil b thinking show ur dedicated sit outside with them all wethers talk about training them complain about their living condistions eg weather these bunies are diffent frm wild mre proon to illness thay need injections if thay live outside do it long enuff and spend an hour to 32 hrs aday outside talking to them nt onli will u bond with ur bunny it wil show mum n dad that you reallly will look after them.

    hope i helpt

  • ilove it but doesnt it take a long time to clean?

  • @Shelizaaa it most likely does take a long time, but a caring, dedicated owner wouldn't mind :) i spent a lot of my day vaccuming the floor and sweeping and screaning out litter boxes, and i only have 2!

  • That is so cool! Your rabbits must be so happy! It must be a pain to clean though!

  • omg i love ur cage i wish that u would do more rabbit care videos cuz u really no wat ur talkin bout

  • will girl rabbits be mean if they are not spayed?because i want a girl rabbit and i have only had boys so i was just wondering.......

  • @natalieandkit i have 2 sister netherland dwarfs who fight and will be spayed when they're old enough. most females will get on if they're sisters but they will always go through a hormonal "teenage" stage from about 3months for sometimes up to a year. its best to get them spayed, this not only reduces hormone levels and calms them down but it greatly reduces the chance of them getting uterine and overian cancer, which about 80% of female bunnies get and die of before they turn 5.

  • Please Reply

Do you use pine shavings? its reallly bad for them

  • @cutieme115 Pine Shavings are bad it leads to respitory problems so DONT use them i like aspen the best it's not as dusty and stuff and i would put a little carefresh on top or bottom of that so urine is obsorbed

  • wooooooooooow amazing

  • I'm so happy to see someone on youtube with a pet that knows how to properly care for their pet.

  • @Crazy4Cavies excuse me..first im not a kid like u and i dont have time for u ..second i didint use any BAD WORDS IN MY REPLY SO SHUT THE FU CK!!!

3RD IM THE BEST HACKER IN ASIA ..I SWARE ILLHACK U AND UR INTERNET SO DONT TALK 2 ME LIKE THAT !!! AND YES U R AN IDIOT AND A LOZER UR FRIEND IS STUPID !! I JUST REPLIED CAUSE I DONT LIKE PEOPLE 2 BE HURT AND THEY DIDNT LIE!!! pls shut up

  • @a7mad1998 ... obiously you are a kid... you only have videos of rabbits..

    and you have little hands.

  • @a7mad1998

LOL. your the best hacker in asia? your only a kid:L:L

  • @Crazy4Cavies HELLO AMM hes right cause rabbits r out door animals ..THOSE ADOPTERS R SOO STUPID JUST IF IT RAINS PUT THEM INSIDE AND WHAT R U?? A RABBIT LOIER?? I HAD A BUNNY THAT I SWARE DIDNT LET HER INSIDE IN HER CAGE FOR A WEEK BUT THEN SHE ALWAYS DIGGED AND SHE RAN AWAY but now i got 2 bunnies that love each other and 1 is maby pregnant chack them out in my channel

  • This is a very nice video and very well done... She is a great moderator and obviously knows a great deal about rabbit health, care and what bunnies truly like. I think is is one of the most informative bunny care video I've seen on youtube. This girl knows her stuff and I'd like to say she'd doing a wonderful job as a "bunny mom".

    Rett / Astrex Rabbits

  • @Crazy4Cavies oh and also she obivously also knows nothing about rabbits because the IF the rabbit died from drinking out of a dish its because she didn't give the rabbit fresh water when needed and never washed the bowl when it got dirty.

  • @Crazy4Cavies Or maybe she didn't change the water when needed? Or wash the dish when needed? I feel sorry for those poor bunnies!! And you sicken me even more!! Rabbits are originally wild animals kid! they drink from streams and water all the time. And in case you haven't noticed the number one cause of rabbits dieing isn't because they drank out of an unsanitary dish! its because they starved or froze to death. So quit acting like you know about rabbits, because you don't

  • @Crazy4Cavies Oh really? Are you sure it's not because your "cousin" does not give propper care for her rabbits because she as so many she can't count them? Or maybe the rabbit died from disease because they're were so many rabbits. You should tell your cousin that theres enough homless animals in the world and she doesnt need to make anymore. so thanks for your opinion bunt you obivously know nothing about rabbits.

  • @Crazy4Cavies actually I have a rabbit myself, and I use as her a bottle and dish im sure she changes her water daily, or everyother day because it will need to be filled every two days anyway.

  • Hard to clean?

  • YOU are an angel!!!! <3

  • cool

  • i think at the beining ov the vid u said hey every bunny lol nice vid and do u do request cause i am getting a bunny soon and need sum help from some utubers tx

  • So cool! I wish i had this but i have 5ft by 6ft hutches instead! OUTDOORS! argh!

  • So kewl your rabbits are spoiled!!!

  • ohh my gosh! i am so glad to see some people care about their babies! i hate it when people buy the store cages, they are much to small. My rabbit lives in an XXL dog crate and it is massive! He loves it and it is only a few inches smaller than yours!

  • My rabbit is in a store cage because its to cold outside for her to live in her outdoor hutch :P

  • @CLexi28 Watch my video!!! I have a dog cage for my rabbit too!!!! It's called NEW BUNNY CAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW! Your rabbits have EVERYTHING! I love all the toys! UI love to see a nice and fun enviroment for rabbits! :)

  • awsome vid but ur rabbits are so lucky

  • They are SPOILD!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this video, this is probably my favorite and is most well informed. It provided me with tons of information, now that I'm considering getting a bunny~ :)

    Thanks CCB! c:

  • how much did it cost 4 you to make just one of those cages?

  • hmm, 60$ for matts, ties, cage tiles, and choroplast (: VERY cheap for the size! Most small store-bought cages are atleast 90$!

  • Those are some really nice cages!

your rabbits are lucky to have you as their owner!

When im older and have my own house im definately going to get c&c cages for my pets.

  • do they jump out? should i add a top??

  • yea i made a cage without a top and i was out of the room and i heard her jump out and i go in and shes in the doorway looking at me lol. now i have a top

  • should i put water in a bowl is it really better? and should i get a hide house cause my rabbit doesnt run when i come she seems comfortable with me around?

  • You should probably provide both, so your bunny can drink to either one when they feel like it. Just make sure to clean everything with warm water and vinegar thoroughly. It was vinegar, right? xD

Also, yes you should get a hidey house because they like dark, small places to sleep in because that comforts them and makes them feel safe. So I would recommend one. :)

  • ur very well sopken

  • Comment removed

  • how do you prevent your rabbits from jumping out of their cages, since there are no tops to the C&C cages?

  • Great video and explanations! Thank you for sharing!

I don't have enough space for cages that big for my two bunnies, but I do let them out daily for exercise. Sometimes I take them outside when the weather is nice.

  • that must be hard to clean

  • LOL! "hey every bunny"

  • yay bunny smarts x3

  • cool! you sound lke a vet! you know alot about rabbits!

  • cool!!

i really want a guinea pig but i absolutely HATE those tiny cages they have at the pet store! thanks for the tips too!

oh and did you say hey every bunny at the beggining? lolz i couldn't telll!

  • very informative

  • VERY GOOD..

how nice it is to see more people caring for their pets correctly...

Very informative. Your rabbits are clearly well cared for and live the life of kings/queens.
