  • I have a C that I am ready to get back on the road. Just wondering if you are running the original dual HS6 SU carbs or did you go to maniflow three carb conversions. Sounds like you are running SUs as I dont hear the sucking sound of the Webers but could be mistaken. Love to learn more about the setup your running.

  • This MGC uses triple DCOE45 Webers, as used in the Works GTS cars. The audio is very poor, sorry for that, but when driving you can hear the air being drawn in even over the engine and exhaust.

  • sweet very sweet. I wish I had the money to put triple Webers on mine. I love the sound. I currently have dual down drafts on my 1971 Audi 100 Coupe S and love the engine note due to the Webers.

  • I had an MGC roadster (pale primrose - that's yellow to you) during my last year in grad school - 1969-70. There was a road between Bloomington, IN (Indiana University) and Beanblossom, IN - about 20 miles - that was all twisty with hills and overarching tree limbs - amazing autumn color. I could make the drive in less than 20 minutes. It sounded exactly like this video, but it looked much prettier. I sure wish I still had that car even with the difficulty finding parts.

  • Brrr... great movie !

  • Looks like the road to Big Bear Lake....

  • Ahh i have one of these, with the original Downton conversion, fantastic cars if ya put spax adjustable shockers on

  • Driving a local canyon road. Slowed it down half way through when I saw the color of my passenger's face. Lots of slow (residential) sections on this road.
