  • Oh gawd it had to be in Texas x.x

  • the worst place to land on from a plane...

  • this is actually footage of spider heaven

  • /watch?v=wOxt9PoJNkg

  • @JayTheHawk13 ^ Put this after youtube .com in your web search thing

  • id have a heart attak

  • BURN THOSE FUCKING TREES

  • You are now imagining yourself accidentally walking through that web at night

  • @babymalai I agree, ive seen webbing go from root too the tree top all on a line of four trees, it coated only the east side, the otherside was untouched, oh and there were no spiders. These look like Orb Weavers to me, but i thought they could only be found in tropical climates.

  • most people think of hell as a fiery dark place. This is my hell. D:

  • Was it actually spiders? The way that everything is instrisically wrapped makes it seem like the work of caterpillars, and that spiders are just jumping on the feast bandwagon.

  • what the update now after 2 and a half year later??!

  • @guicapone2 Hi...It's my understanding that the cool weather came and nature took its course. I don't think the web is still there. Thanks for watching the video.

  • "oooooo it makes me wanna get closer and touch it". like how dumb can man get, first it started with cave men and fire. Then government with there nuclear power. Then MJ and children. Now people and huge fukn webs with spiders. Solution, We are in the modern age, government is too pussy to provoke nuclear warefare, but would eventualy fuk it up anyway, MJ dead, and finally, giant web with spiders, flame thrower and lots of napalm. plan B " nuke em", only way to be shure.

  • @NathanSaga Oh, yes my dear, you are quite correct. I recommend that you ask for Amisulpride. :))

  • set that shit on fire!!!

  • you can see something like this in spider birth season. om meadows where spiders are born, millions of baby spiders will spin a string and attempt to make it catch air making the spider lift of and fly away. all string that dont catch air will form a carpet over the meadow.

  • Do you realize that your immature when you used that offensive word on me?I'm trying to save the tree not destroying it.

  • give me some flamethrower i'll burn it off

  • Don't endangered the trees :(.

  • I'm going to roadtrip there this summer. I live in San Angelo, Texas, so this isn't too far away for me.

I love spiders and insects o fall kinds, and I have to see this for myself..

WHY DIDNT I HEAR ABOUT THIS SOONER?!

  • SPIDER CITY!!

  • Where's my flamethrower? No i'm kidding. Wouldn't do that.

  • in some parts of australia in the right season you can get acres of mangrove forest covered in web from a breed of orb spider with a golden colored web..they can be as big as your hand..but the web deposits are not as thick as this ..amazing vid

  • too scary

  • If someone was very scared of spiders and was lost and found themselves in that place... They just might run right into all those webs! lol

  • OMG! OMG, OMG! lol ;-)))))

I think I would have a heart attack, lol

No way I would bike 1 inche without looking carefully. Nothing is as creepy as getting a web, wíth a spider, right in your face ;)

I get the shivers already when reading this. ;)

  • there are so many adjectives you could use to describe that

  • aaaaargh, it still gives me creeps!

I once walked with my face in a spider web, since then I'm more then terrified of webs and spiders.

And they do nothing, so I wonder what makes people scared.

But still, in autumn when the place here is covered with webs I look véry careful where I walk

  • Shit, my yard used to be like that every spring and fall.

One of the reasons I stopped liking spiders.

  • omfg FUCK that if i ever was even close to that many HUGE spider webs id fucking RUN rofl

  • wonder what someone with a serious case of arachnophobia would do if they woke up in the middle of that thing..

  • This video is so old, I actually remember when this was on the local news. This wasnt made of A spider it was made out of ALOT of spiders. Scientists visited the scene and took alot of tests and noticed that the spiders of this place was webbing the thing up together like a colony

  • they really dont hurt u i was the first to see them and i thought it was funny.....

  • i think those aro silk worm colonies n the spiders are just there to set up shop..u kno ur bored when u find yourself watchin stuff like this lol

  • Suppose you are a tourist planning to take a cosy walk during a moonlit night.

' C'mon, sweet, let's sit by those trees overthere, I wanna kiss you.'

  • *hello suside hotline, i needd to kno where to commit suside where i can get eaten by spiders* "ok go to texas giant spider web" *sweeeeeeet*

  • they are Friendly arent they?

  • glad it gets below freezing in Michigan lol

  • oh my word..well i just crossed this off of my places to go list :)

  • i cound get in that web so i can be eated

  • its the lest pleace i em going XD

  • well thats for sure a place for good observations. Interesting cause too many species are there strange but interesing

  • are you sure those are not "web-worms"

  • Sorry to burst the horror movie-like bubble but spiders are canabalistic. They do not live in pairs much less "colonies", do not "get together" and spin communal webs, and do not "signal each other" other than drumming the web or ground when initiating mating. This is just an area with an unusually high population of spiders building individual webs very close together. The area covered here is extremely large but is not unusual to find webs so close together that they appear to be 1 huge web.

  • There are colonial spiders so you are wrong.

  • if i saw that i would bring a flame thrower and blast them all

  • Flametrowers are fun

  • i hate cnn

  • I heard when the cooler weather hit, nature took it's course and the web was a memory.

  • Just think about it all those spiders are eating mesquetos flys and other annoying bugs. their doing us a favor so let us do them one let them live.

  • holy crud yazuak is right those spider r taking over the world BURN THEM ALL, BURN THEM!!!!

  • holy shit, spiders are taking over the world

  • I say leave em be ^_^ Since for all we know they can be the new worst enemy to those africanized killer bees.

  • I love spiders. And im not suprzed by this. theres been spider colonys in other countrys for such a long time its just people are just incredibly scared of arachnids just cause there not 'cute and cudly."

I say go spiders tho knowing most people the poor things will be killed out of fear like people used to do with wolves and other "Pests"

  • what freaks me out are the voices in the background .__.

  • Killer bees and now this!?!?

  • WOW! OH GOD HAVE MERCY!

  • hey look there connecting there websites

  • BURN, BURN, BURN IT, BURN IT ALL DOWN quickly before they summon the spiders from the mist unto us.!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SICK! SICK!

  • i saw that web man it is thick you can't see anything out of that

  • I would like to watch it with my own eyes!!! and maybe do what yourtubeact says xD

  • Totally awesome and a little scary :).

  • WOW! SPIDERS NEED FAME TOO! [HA HA]

  • EWW

  • the camera man blatantly died after filming that. or turned into speder man. that would be awesome.

  • now thats awesomeeeeee

  • NO Way that is crazy.. I would move...

  • It's nature, just let it take it's course.

  • Looks a scene from Arachnophobia! Scary!

  • It's scary because it gives the impression that a giant spider was making all that web.

  • Its not that scary, i live across the street from there. Also it right by the lake...means alot of bugs :)

  • Is it normal or it happened just once?

Did you learn what forced them to do it?

I think it's beautiful anyway.I mean the way

    that nature reacts sometimes.

  • look at all that silk. all i see is money to be made!!

  • Umm.. Just a suggestion, maybe these trees are very popular to the spiders and alot of them used to live there and made they're own webs to form this huge webbed tree

  • Mate, that is just not right :)

  • birds eat spiders right? or are those spiders eating the birds! yikes!

  • Hi Ronpack, I don't think the spiders eat the birds. I think they eat insects.

  • Imagine if a bird flew in there by accident. They would get stuck and die there. I have seen spiders catch birds and eat them in there webs but they were HUGE spiders. Hi by the way :)

  • @Sarkoja actually there are spiders that eat birds... for example the Goliath bird eating spider and a few other insane spiders

     google bird eating spider

  • This is what nightmares are made of, hehe... What's next? A 8-legged freak??

  • That's scared, really and amazing, what this animals doing ... Perfect, i never seen something like that!

  • alright looks like i better call my therapist again...

  • thanks, sarkoja, this is the only video of this phenom out there right now!

so... what creature will be the next to commune and freak us out?

  • It looks like tent worms that drew in alot of spiders. The last spider a common garden spider

  • that is so freaking amazing!

Let´s see what does Mother Nature has for us the next days =)
