The memorial is close to the opening of the Pot o' Gold Camp. as if you were driving up to go to the Pot O' Gold camp. If you get directions to got the pot O' Gold Camp you should be able to see it. I pass the memorial all the time going to the camp, been going there for a while. Hope i helped in some way.
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where the memorial for the ones who died is. I know it should be where it happenin Comfort, Texas but does anyone know the address. I would like to and pay my rescpect.

I'm not certain I could hold on if a chopper was lifting me. I can't even ski behind a boat, much less be pulled out of a river by a helicopter!
Just out of curiosity, what is the elevation around there? I'm concerned that this would happen around where I live.
