Whoa man, just show us in the intro, don't tell us. Some things.. you can't tell. You just can't. You're supposed to be technically inclined, but this show didn't work out. Too much talking.
why this isn't already in windows (7) is quite mind boggling :/ there needs to be more customization. Here's a suggestion, make it so we can MAKE suggestions to microsoft xD
so is it possible to to only have one dvi port but use a splitter to attach to two monitors to it, one running off virtual desktop? because i know that without virtual desktop there would simply be a clone of what u see on the other monitor, am i right?
@LockerzUnlocked no. on multiple monitors you can have it mirrot the original desktop or just display the desktop bg and be like an extension to the desktop.
i love linux. I had linux before on my desktop computer but i switched to windows 7 just for testing. my very nice laptop is at the moment running vista home premium as host os and windows 7 and ubuntu as guest os:P
hey i realy liked they way linux ubuntu changed between virtual desktops, not the cube, but it had this little anitmation when changing........any idea for a equal for windows
the the best virtual desktop manager I found that works in Windows Vista XP and 200o is Dexpot. Is can also do the mac's expose function by going to settings>controls>Miscellaneous>Window catalog and Window catalog (Active application). Also it can give you a full screen preview with all the with all the windows expose. only drawback not drag and drop of windows from one desktop to the other.
deskscapes (yodm 3d) tried it on vista but still takes cpu and alot of ram... vista & virtual desktops seems ok, ist not as smooth either (takes much less cpu and ram tho)..gonna try virtua win
