It had you running and jumping all over the room screaming OH MY GOD I DID IT I FINALLY FREAKING DID IT OH MY GOD!! So I think making a short little photographic ending with credits was necessary so as not to take away from that experience and force you to have to stay in your chair. Nowadays it's like, meh I beat it, on to the achievements, I'm so awesome, okay next game.
