When I see people write "They're 10 pounds now, so expensive! :(" I think wow that is so cheap!! Mac eyeshadows in Australia are $33 each. Australia has no doubt the most expensive makeup! And yep we get the exact same product but it gets absolutely slayed with import tax on the way in. It's very depressing!

I'm Canadian and have been musing MAC since it first started over twenty years ago. The prices then were a little high but not exorbitant. I think my first Studio Fix Compact cost Cdn$16. About ten years ago MAC was bought by Estee Lauder. The inevitable happened: prices began to rise steadily. Now they almost as high as Lancome and Dior - $39 for a foundation, anyone? While I'm thrilled to see a Canadian company succeed, it's been hard to swallow the price increases. Love your videos.

SMH does have good products, however, the last time I ordered from them they took my money and didn't ship my order. When I asked them about where my order was, they cancelled it with out an explanation and when I eMailed them to ask about it, they didn't respond at all.

If you do decide to order from them, definitely pay through PayPal and keep an eye on the date. If you get into day 43 and don't have your order yet, lodge a complaint or you wont' get your money back or your order.

the only problem I have is that this company probably is getting these shadows wholesale from China - a factory or producer that may be unregulated, where as MAC us reputable. Who is to say what is in these shadows? traces of lead or other dangerous fillers?

@TMSW94 they do fit mac palettes, however you will need to add a magnet (the eyeshadows don't come with one like mac ones) to the bottom to keep them in place.

Just wondering have you ever looked up Celia Make-up. It's a company in Japan that do all the same palettes as Coastal Scent and the likes. They have palettes very similar to these ones too for even more of a fraction of the price. I was very happy with my purchases :)

Here in Australia we have to pay $32 for a MAC eyeshadow, even though our dollar is currently on par and sometimes more than the US dollar. We get absolutely ripped off on all cosmetic that come into our country, and then Australian companies seem to think they should have the same price point as these 'high end' brands.

I bought these after seeing recommendation from pursebuzz. Took two weeks to arrive. Colors look great in palette, but not on eyes. They get very muddy blending and do not wear well at all. These are not at all similar quality to MAC. Save your money. Wayne this is the first recommendation where I think you really missed the mark.

Ooo, I hope you got some Sugarpill, they're so wonderful I think you'll really like her shadows. She doesn't however do neutrals which I know you love, as do I, but for anyone looking to add some solid brights to their collection, these are amazing and very pigmented. Comparable to MUFE.

i love these eyeshadows! if you live in the states, you can purchase them at the allcosemeticwholesale site. and they also have swatches provided by karlasugar.

also! they fit in the elf palettes if you need a travel palette. they only cost $1. i ended up popping the plastic part of the container out and glued a magnet in so now it holds 5 pans instead of the 4.
