They only skipped that line because they needed to cut the guitar solo out because of time. And "Salvation is here" without the solo just does not sound right.

I agree that bands perform their songs differently! I'm just commenting on their lack of judgment to change the lyric "salvation is here" because it is the major witness point in the song! I'm not saying that it was a bad rendition, although the sound was off... I'm just saying that they should have left that lyric in there and changed it somewhere else. Odds are they changed it for time purposes, and I don't think that was the best way to save on time!

Wow, they didn't even say "Salvation Is Here" at the end of the bridge. Despite the missed solo, and some vocal difficulties, I'm wondering if Switch Foot is feeling comfortable sharing their faith with others, or not... Pulling a stunt like that just isn't cool. Other than that, it's a good song. But even better when it's not missing it's best lyric after the bridge (Salvation is here). Keep it real, with your faith at the forefront of your music!
