well.. if you dont just want to have a phone to play with, an adroid handy will be the better choice! this is the first one, and now there are much better ones on the market. An android handy is truely the better phone for communicating and business because it allows many apps running on the same time, so there is no problem of running an emailclient, messenger, etc. on the background. additionally the sync is ways better then the iphone, BUT you have to sell your soul to google.

dont count in the apps because the G1 has most of its apps for free and not as many copies of a single app as the iphone and i believe google was thinking on making a new type of phone it seems to have worked out pretty well

This is such a fan boy app. My g1 is way faster than my buddies Iphone but then again mine is rooted LoL. And android was almost brand new when this video came out. I think that it's almost ready to go head to head with the iphone market. Apple junkie's aside, the android os is way better in my opinion. i have a G1, and i must say, the "Thickness" isn't bad at all... I've only used the iPhone on a limited basis, but the G1 that i have has no problems... i agree with others posting here, the G1 has it's pro's and con's as everything does, but Google sure struck gold with Android, in my personal opinion.

i have the 3G Iphone and it's good. Everyphone has its pros and cons, but nobody know what the G1 is capable of until it's actually realeased to the public. Just by looking at this video and comparing to my 3G, I like the qwerty keyboard but dislike its thickness.

There are things that the iphone cant do, but the fact that it has the possibilities to do whatever other phones can through software updates plus so so so so much more makes it the best phone on the market. The apps are way better than any other phones apps. The fact that the app has to be selected makes it great too because u dont have to worry about viruses. If you like simple phones that do the same things as every other phone then dont get the iPhone. Its 2008. Why are you sending pic mess?

Please stop comparing the iphone to everything. ITS NOT THE BEST PHONE ON THE MARKET. Everyphone that comes out, people start bringing up the iphone. It can't even do basic features like picture mail, does not have removable battery. Those are basic, and the iphone can't do them. The G1 is a much better phone, and I can not wait to get my hands on the one I ordered. Let it go, and move on. People have already made copies of the iphone that are better. And cheaper.
