Her power is Genjutsu, where she can disrupt opponents' chakra and freeze them in place or disable them. The chakra flows through the nervous system and directly affects the five senses of the opponent. For example her tree binding jutsu is one of them. And sorry, her eyes are not red because of her power. I made a mistake on that srry for that.

when kurenai was at asuma's gave site and shikamaru met her there she was pregnant and had a ring on her finger

so she got pregnant for asuma before he died

also (in the manga) shikamaru kept coming back everyday to visit kurenai and she said whe does he do that everyday...and shika said something about asuma said to make sure she's alright
