I'm disappointed with the show because they lost of the essence of what Napoleon Dynamite was. It was a real movie following a real character that you could relate to and understand. But, this show is exactly what it says it is, a cartoon. The situations are going unreal, and all the character's traits and personalities are going to get greatly exaggerated to compensate for it and fill a niche. All things considered, I still think the show will flop

They are trying to hard on this series, I would like it more if it was a realistic animated show like King of the Hill since it's based on a realistic movie. Anyway it's better than Allen Fucker Gregory and Bobs Shitty titty Burgers, but this show is pretty much a knock off of Beavis and Butthead but really un funny and boring and unlikeable characters

Napoleon must be live action, the point is that he acts like a stupid dry cartoon while he is not animated. When you make him a cartoon he ends up being a typical adult swim style show that isn't that funny.

Besides, Napoleon Dynamite is so brilliantly stupid that It cannot have a sequel. It's perfect.

This idea is ridiculous. I hope the show doesnt do well so it's cancelled and the movie isn't RUINED!

No. The bitching is not over the fact that they have made a sequel per se, but that the story DID NOT need any kind of follow up. It ended perfectly and this "addition" is not necessary. The trailer and cast list hint that LaFawndah is no longer a part of the picture, making their wedding/relationship either not part of the canon universe or making their marriage/relationship null as well as rendering her entire part in the film useless. That's not worth a cartoon.

This is just a show that we will have to wait and see how it'll turn out. There's no way we can figure out now. Who knows? It might pull a Family Guy and get cancelled soon but get rereleased because of high demand. Or it'll pull a Rosie Show and get cancelled after the first episode. Only time will tell.
