I was there at the concert and it was one of the amazing momentsof my life. It was powerful message, songs were incredible. And his speech made me cry for Mathew and his family all over again. And for everyone who has endured so much. And when he announced how much the concert raised you could hear the roar all over Wyoming. this just made me cry....so touching. truth is powerful and elton speaks it loud and clear.....my soulmate was killed in a horrible murder just a few years before Matthew was killed...this cannot be allowed to happen, it shouldn't...may the light of truth and love shine....let us dare to dream! thank you Elton John.

Thank you so much for posting this! It's wonderfull! When Elton made this speech, I actually happened to be celebrating my 33rd birthday! It's a nice coincidence and a great reminder to be grateful for being alive!
