Awsome weight loss! Way to go! I track my numbers and food with an app called FitDay...I am not good at doing it every single dayI have to admit, but I do it at least 2 or 3 times a day to get an idea but I do have to try being more diligent. Think you're doing great!
I use Lose It. LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure you have to connect with friends using an email address though. I'll message you my email and hunt you down on Twitter. You look great - congrats!
I have a totally different schedule since mid November which freaks me out. I mean, I am away from home for over 12 hours and need to eat small meals every three hours. My calories are low. If I eat dense protein meats then I am full too fast. If I eat ricotta or cottage cheese, I can eat more volume.
I just had a pb and j sandwich. WHY?
I should be sleeping not eating.
Lots of stress with this longer schedule and extreme work issues...wondering if it is emotional eating.
I am the unlucky person who is 5'9" with a measured BMR of 1000 cals/day. I gained 5 lbs when I started eating 1250 cals/day, but thank GOD my weight seems stable now...no additional gains so far.
It is HARD for me to eat 1250 cals/day. It takes a huge amount of planning and prep, and there is no wiggle room. I wish I could eat more. I am going to see an endocrinologist to see if they can help.
Can you tell me what portions you eat? It seems like I have no pouch/restriction whatsoever. My portions (to feel full) seem bigger than the post-ops I read about on here and OH. If I eat less (like the amounts I read about for others), then I am hungry an hour later.
I'm maintaining my weight on around 1800 calories a day. I lose if I drop below that. I feel pretty lucky. I have to eat really small snacks every 2 hours to maintain a healthy blood sugar. Otherwise, I get sick. I really wish the very best on our upcoming nuptials. take care - jenn
I love, love, LOVE your videos!!! From the beginning you have been one of my greatest you tube inspirations so I am so glad to see more videos from you. Congrats on the upcoming wedding...you are going to be a beautiful bride! This video is spot on as far as recognizing post op that you can eat more and you still have to watch what you put in your mouth. I have just discovered that this week! Keep up the good work!
I can't decide if I should make a vid of me in the dress -- some people say it's bad luck! But it seems silly, since bex already went with me to buy the dress in the first place. And she's who'd I be hiding it from, right?
somehow you don't strike me as a woman who concerns herself with "luck", good or bad.
You're a can-do, will-do person!
what's luck got to do with it??
That said, it is pretty special to present yourself as a bride totally new on your wedding day. Bex has seen it, but not on you with your hair and make up done and whatever accessories you'll sparkle it up with.
as anxious as I am to see it (and I'm sure I'm speaking for many on that)...I think there's something to "keeping the veil on" til the big reveal on the big day.
(kicking myself in the butt for being so selfless!!)
YES!!! GREAT VIDEO. I can eat a LOT more now and I worry about it all the time. I am always wondering if I have just stretched out my pouch... or if this is normal. I too have started eating more low calorie / high volume foods to round out protein meals so that I feel more satisfied. It seems to be helping me not feel like such a glutton. LOL This video was SPOT on for me. Thanks!
The pouch is supposed to stretch over time and it's totally normal - don't get freaked out (sometimes hard to do, I know). Man, we should post more cooking vids on here!
I can eat a ton now too. i have to really track my food daily or I would be naturally eating over 2000 calories a day with no problem.
