  • if u dont have money to get him a better home just dont get one

  • weird terrarium for a chameleon. how can you maintain air humidity?

why do you use the chickenwire? branches out of the garden are even cheaper and with less risks

  • terrarum looks like something out of a 2011 beach crysis festival event lol

  • horrible! si amas a tu camaleon deberias cambiarle su habitat

  • this terrarium is not suited for chameleon, change it

  • yeah my dog often snatches food from my hand with its freakishly long tongue.

  • honestly, the food source looks fine, notice how the chameleon pretty uch comes out of the cage to eat it, i dont see why everyone is being a bitch

  • HOLY SHIT THAT CAGE WAS OPEN?

  • @MrFisheez jaja the same as i thought

  • you have nice terrarium

  • The cammies living like a bum on the street corner, eatting canned food, sleepin in a fence hammok.

  • hey dude awesome chameleon, he looks like hes having a blast in there, and hand fed meals? what a life!

  • my cham is currently in a completly glass tank sept a mesh hood, but shes getting moved to a 4"x3" wire cage with mesh all around it,...shes getting moved once i can figure out how to keep the heat and humidity up in it.... so far the glass tank is best for her... i can atleast keep her heat and humidity at a safe level in it.,

  • as if im even GOING to pick up a cricket :S PASS THE CHOPSTICKS

  • I think what people are trying to say is replace the glass door with a mesh door, use flyscreen. Give him loads of plants to climb on and hide in and change some of the mesh 'branches' for natural ones of different sizes. That will exercise his feet. You can get fake vines from Exo-terra which are ideal for Chams. If you get a small ceramic dog bowl you can use that to feed mealworms and roaches, but then let hoppers and crickets wander about to allow him to hunt naturally.

  • why is everybody being so mean to you???

  • mine died cuz the wingz on the grassthing made it choke

  • wow cant any fellow chameleon owners give advice without being a dick about it

  • @KrAzYsteve318 I agree, desultadox should be considerate of a fellow reptile lover, it looks like alonsotoro at least tried to make the aquarium nice.

  • @KrAzYsteve318 I agree

  • @KrAzYsteve318 No, it makes sense not to you can imagine people who love chameleons watching this and not being able to help it. I don't care about animals, but I think if u chose to own one you should treat it well, and you should want to! Unless, you just don't care about it and have it for the purposes of ur own enjoyement oh wait that makes sense.

  • @KrAzYsteve318 It's not the fact of them being dick. Chameleon's are extremely sensitive. They can die from stress. How would you like, to see yourself 24/7, shit on newspaper, have an annoying neighbor, that you can't cause bodily harm too, and/or with with your shitty play set?

  • that poor thing....

  • Fail. learn to keep chameleons the right way. RESEARCH duhh. seriosly.....spend atleast 3 months researching before you purchase a animal of this difuculty.

  • i don't understand why in every chameleon video i watch the hole comment board is harassing the owner of any little thing wrong with their cages that they have. sure a little tip here or there is alright but shit you don't have to harass the people! its their setup not yours so back the fuck off!

  • what are u feeding them

  • once in awhile. in the wild they even eat baby birds. they aren't territorial and whenever i kept chameleons they had no problems at all being in pairs. and the reason they say no glass is because it doesn't allow them to climb or have air circulating through their tank. what did you get all your info from petsmart. and i know this is an old video it just annoys me that people with no experience try telling other people how to raise their pets.

  • desultadox you have no idea what you are talking about. give the guy a break. that chameleon isn't eating the wrong kind of prey they should be fed crickets, grasshoppers, (which are pretty much larger crickets with more advanced body parts) mealworms, silkworms. moth larvae, and other miscellaneous insects. they can even have a pinky every

  • u shouldnt feed food so big top them wen their little

  • ese saltamontes tendrias qu haber sido tu invecil

    qu poco amais los animales

  • u should have a live plant in there

  • I have a question about you netting.

where did you get it? what is it?

  • So they like to nom sometimes, nothing abnormal about that. ;)

  • There is nothing 'dog-like' the way he is eating. nothing unusual. Thanks for being yet another idiot to waste my time. My Jackson will eat without using his tong sometimes and that I guess you could call "eating like a dog."

  • Do you have any live plants in there?

  • Get that waterfall outa' there! Also, those setups could be fine if you had the right layout. Like that, they have no visual barriers, and/or security.

  • someoen needs to be more creative when it comes to building enclosures.. damn!

  • No es nada bueno que se vean como creo que tienes puesto, porque crían huevos solos aunque no estén fecundados ;)

  • NOSSA QUE VELOCIDADE

  • what did you feed it

  • nice

  • interesting set up. get some mad plants in there tho.

  • o3o interesting how does the tongue feel like when it missed its target?

  • get your terrarium some plants, those Chameleons must be very sad about having no plants in their cages.

  • orrible terrarium blehh

  • thats awsome. i cant wait to get 1. im getting 1 soon this week.

i like the fence idea. thats great.

  • thats cool bro. good vid

  • did they eat it? if not it might have tasted bad XD

  • its not plastic u buy dead grasshoppers in cans lol

  • all i can say is wow

  • Good idea with the plastic fencing

  • i agree with katpoo2

  • yea where do u get that green stuff that looks cool i think chameleons would love that. so much room to climb u know

  • your chemaleon is sick cant u see its dieing u dum fuck bring him to the vet dum fuck

  • I would really like to know how you know he is sick by barley seeing him in a 47 second video he seems healthy enough to me. oh and please dont swear on you tube comments there are small children watching these videos and reading comments. and by the way to alonsotoro good video i cant seem to get my Jackson's to eat from my hand any advice?

  • He's probably not too fond with you. He most likely doesn't trust you (hey, its juts a reptile) so just build more friendship with it by SLOWLY putting your fingers near it and touch it to gain trust, sorta hard and weird to explain, but just become friends with it basically.

  • pick it up normaly with the hand under its chin and not forcefully grabbing him as a start. and use a cup method. reach ur hand in the cage and with the other hand crab a cup with a worm in it and put it at the end of the arm u reached in. he will see it and climb on you hopefully interested and eat from the cup. and eventually hand feed him

  • ur a moron dude

  • Dude! There great pets! They aren't nasty!

  • they aren't disgusting.

    you are.

if i see you infront of me, i would burn you.

you need to calm down, mentally ill bitch.

lol, stop selling your bloated body for cents outside drug stores, you're just gonna get more aids.

  • ur good

  • My god, don't ASK him where he got his cage materials! This is the last cage you should be tring to replicate!! Poor panther. Someone needs to do some research on chameleon enclosures. Unfortunately for that cham, that didn't happen PRIOR to the purchase.

  • lol 3 tries to snatch it

  • thats a good idea with that wire for climbing branches.

  • If anyone lives close to Helena Montana i am selling my Veiled Chameleon and the custom cage i built PM me for questions

  • its cute ^^

  • can ne one tell me about how much panther chameleons cost?

  • you can order babys online cb for £160

  • hey, where did you find that material for you cham to climb on? how much was it?

  • how much was ur terrarium compleate?

  • feeding him with dead insects?

  • I have set up my Chameleons terrarium like a "mini forest". you need to do the same thing.

and btw. let him hunt his food

  • beautiful cam yur lookin after it great, and bastardnate IF THT CAM WAS IN THE WILD DO YUU REALLY THINK ITS GINNA BE BOVAD ABOUT WAT ITS EATIN .. NO ITS GONNA EAT ENTTHING THT COMES ITS WAY DUUHHH!!!!!!!! THICK AS SHIT!

  • wow, you do know that every experienced cham owner ever will tell you mesh is better than glass. if you can find one legit place that says glass is better then you should talk...

  • it is not a glass tank, is only the dor!!!

  • @AKaustog Some people use a partially glass cage if they live somewhere really cold to keep heat in or if they have trouble keeping humidity up. Glass isnt all bad as long as you still have some mesh.

  • @AKaustog some glass keeps humidity in....

  • @AKaustog Sorry to interrupt you here, but that's just how it developed in America. In Europe they're being bred successfully in glass tanks with a mesh top and a strip of mesh in the front. Might be an advantage if you haven't got the room heated high enough. Besides, energy costs are higher in europe, so the wooden tank with glass front is pretty fashionable. To my knowledge there are currently no gauze terrariums fitting even the minimum legally required size available in Europe.

  • whoever owns this cham, should be kicked in the nads. chameleons NEED a naturalistic set up, they need variety. i dont see any supleementation on the shitty canned cricket you are feeding it.

  • Scenebooking is absolutely right. That poor chameleon must be miserable. He basically lives in a junkyard, is eating the wrong type of prey, and is in at least a partial glass terrarium. If the side is screen then it's even worse because he can see his neighbor. Chameleons are very territorial, so they don't want to see other chameleons or even their own reflections (hence no glass). I can't believe you have such an expensive animal living in such a shit hole.

  • sorry, I'm very sorry, I am very ashamed about my video, I'm thinking to remove it. I swear: I'll never have a terrarium with a glass door and I'll never feed a chameleon with canneded food, it right of perpetual ownership.

  • @alonsotoro and always feed them CAPTIVE breed cricks

  • @alonsotoro he's right though...shouldn't keep them in glass viv's, they're prone to respitory problems because of stale air, they need mesh..

  • @alonsotoro this was 3 years ago...i wonder..are they alive...and i see you try hard to remove this video...poor you, you must be exosted of trying

  • @desultadox What is wrong with glass? Glass is good too

  • @TropicalFishAuction Chameleons thrive better in screen type terrariums as males tend to get stressed or angry when they see their reflection. This makes it tricky to regulate the humidity levels, but it gives them better ventilation as well.

  • Yeah it looks like a junkyard I give you that BUT having a chameleon in a glass terrarium have some advantages because if you have them in a net terraruim you have to turn up the heat in the whole room and you have to keep the humidity on 60% thats very hard. Yes having a chameleon is alot of work but there is no laws saying you have to have a net terrarium and btw talk with the specialized reptilian vet and ask if you can use a glass terrarium and they will say yes. Stop bitching.

  • @desultadox shut the FUCK UP.

  • @Kkammiee I "shut the fuck up" 3 years, but judging by your videos, I guess you were little more than a cum stain back then and haven't made much progress even now.

  • @desultadox Whats wrong with it ? its beautiful i love the mesh for it at the start i think its 3 1/2 out of 5

  • @MegaDannyboii Everything is wrong with it. Just do a little research online and you'll see.

  • @MegaDannyboii Everythings wrong with it! Where would you like me to start? :/

  • there are many ways to care for a chameleon and no one specific way is right or wrong as long as it works and it obviously does.....a glass tank can get too hot, but as long as it has a regulated airflow and the temparature is regularly monitored then there is no problem.

  • Constantly fighting with their reflection is a problem.

  • scene booking is completely right

  • was n beschissenes terrarium!!

  • im on ur side alonsotoro tht scenebooking is sayin ur doin this wrong nd tht wrong but i think u r lookin after yur animal very well x

  • umm another thing do yuu really think chameleons r gonna measure they prey in the wild i dnt think so...... and glass tanks are better thn mesh they can get there legd cought init and brake there legs so dnt be bigheaded wen yur wrong any way!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it is not a glass tank, is only the dor!!! if I'm wrong, sorry, so let me and my panthers alone.

  • you, my friend, are an imbecile.

shut the fuck up, you dont know what you are talking about.

  • sorry about my english, it's not my mother language, but do you have a chameleon?

  • tht scenebooking should shut the hell up im sure this person is looking after the chameleon jst fine nd yuu should stop usin yur facts you got ioff the internet nd shut up!!!!!

  • damn thats a good idea witht he stuff u have in ur tank my gf had one but we never thought of using that stuff

  • 2) I hope you dont feed it dead bugs all the time. Chams liek to be able to hunt its part of them having a healthy mind.

    3) is that a glass cage? Glass cages cause alot of stress in chams which can in turn kill them.

    4) you really shoudl have plants and vines with leaves. Chams liek to feel secure by hiding behind plants, It also gives them a place to cool down if the cage it too hot... Another reaosn why you need a mesh cage instead of glass. It helps with airflow.

  • Ok several things you are doing wrong here.

    1) the bugs you are feeding it are too big. The rule is nothing bigger than from one eye to the other. What ever that was is bigger than its entire head. This can and WILL lead to impaction.
