  • uh, so chillin...

  • None of us are free...Ron Paul 2012!!!!

  • futbol ruso

  • thumbs up if u came here because of dr.house/because the song is epic

  • Thumbs up if this song should be the anthem for fighting against SOPA/PIPA!

  • This is my favourite song ever written. Amazing voice + Amazing Song .

  • This Hammond sound is a eargasm.

  • Intersectionality: as long as anyone who is queer, anyone who is poor, anyone who is disabled, anyone who is a target for discrimination on basis of skin color, heritage, gender, weight, religion, sexuality, or goddamned clothing choice is a target, no one is free. There is a long way to go, yes. But it's a good fight.

I love this song more than a little.

  • Amazing how the same message can still ring so true through all the years... powerful. Very power.

  • Like if you looked this up because of house!

  • king of the kings...

  • ME ENCANTA ESTE TEMA, SIENTO A PESAR DE NO HABLAR INGLES TODO LO QUE SIGNIFICA Y ES LA PURA Y CRUEL REALIDAD DE HOY DÍA ,ES TRISTE PERO ES ASÍ .

  • love it

    House FTW :$

  • what a great song !

thank you very much for sharing

  • It's like I had an orgasm... with my ears...

  • Great song, people: please, think harder before to do. Be tolerant, no matter if the others are black, white or blue. Catolics, Musulmans, Americans, Mexicans, fat, skinny or whatever. This song is about EVERY SINGLE SOUL. Nobody is gonna be free until every body will be.

  • so much truth in one song, no one can dislike this, this is for all people, kids teenagers, adults and old people, all of them, i'm sure all and everyone of them, can enjoy this

  • It is really a great song. That's for sure. I also want to mention that Solomon is really one of the most inpiring musicians that has ever lived. He respected everyone, from everywhere and any religion. That's why i liked it because the original song is from Lynyrd Skynyrd. A band well known for it's rebel look. But even Lynyrd Skynyrd respects everyone. So it doesn't matter who you are or where you from, everybody sais the same and everybody wants the same thing. Freedom. Spread the word

  • well...i'm happy that a popular tv show brought this incredible artist to light...even if the message was misconstrued

  • Never watched "House" but this man came to the UK in the 60's and knocked me out . For me he has lived up to his self proclamation of the King of Rock n Soul . He was doing it for half a century and what he left us will be appreciated long after he (and us) is gone

  • This song is clearly about the christian mission. That while even 1 of us is still in darkness and hurting and unaccepting of the great sacrifice Christ made for us then our mission is uncomplete and NONE of us are free

  • @hillbillya1 maybe but the message i received is more about the other Christian mission: to love all of mankind, regardless of personal/spiritual/religious belief, but simply because we are all human, flawed, & in need of help and kindness.

  • This is a great song. I heard it the first time on an episode of "House" and I fell in love with it. It really makes you think.

  • @wilmajo

no--- you fell in love with House, the man/character/building

    Hahahahahaha!!!!!!

    :)

    yes, I am insane

and, yes, it is a GREAT song---makes me wanna build a railroad or plant a field, except I am a lazy git and a good for nothing, but other than that, I WOULD!!! :)

it also kinda makes me wanna be tied up, but I think that may mean summat else, entirely........

  • thanks solomon and astelonaris to sharing it

  • insight

  • I love this moment 2:03

  • just PERFECT

  • The anthem of Bradley Manning

  • heard this on house, and thought itd be sweet to jam to with my guitar

  • Many people think that this song was only about Africans not being free that time.

But the longer i live, the more i realise that nobody is free nowadays.

And it doesn't look like it will get any better.

  • @Kurvomet yep.

  • @Kurvomet that's very simplistic, the beauty of this song is far more than some petty cry of oppression from people free to speak out as we see fit. What he sings is "none of us are free, if one of us is chained, none of us are free" it's a song of solidarity with those who are truly oppressed. I read; Iran, North Korea and China.

  • אין על מה להצטער עלינו רק להצטער על השעות שהוא ער ומנותק

  • Que gran maestro, se ha ido alguien único. R.I.P.

  • Gran Solomon : fue uno de los mejores. Su obra perdurará siempre en nuestro recuerdo, en lo Eterno.

  • can someone tell me the story of that guy? new here

  • Dude, if thats ray charles blind...Imagine what he would be like if he could see the keys.

  • Heeeerlijk ,die hammondsoulsound!!!

It takes me too the ground off my endless emotional heartbeat.

    MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm beautiful.

    Alloud too scream!!

  • @trudyverasita dank voor mooie woorden. prachtig nummer en........tja, die hammond sound! inderdaad mmmmmmmmmm

  • Every master is also a slave. We are all one species, whether we choose to see that scientific fact or not. Those who oppress members of humanity, are blindly and inevitably, enslaving themselves.

  • freedom it's not that easy to find and it's not hat easy to keep it

    R.I.P. Kings

  • bestest song EVAR!!!! (I know I sound like like a douche when I write like that but it's true)

  • its unfortunate that these ideals will never come to fruition no matter how badly i personally may want it. it is not for this world to see this kind of divine balance.

therefore, i seek to perfect my own self.

  • @theblackpoet Oh, yes. We will get there. Be certain of that.

  • THIS WAS THE BEST OF THE BEST THIS MAN NEVER GOT WHAT HE DESERVED. RIP MASTER BLASTER CUZ YOU WAS THE SHIZNICK.

  • You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free! It does't matter what the circumstances are. I was set free on August 19th 1985 10:30 AM.

You too, can be set free if you want to. They that call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. @1:40 ..."none of us can find it on our own"? Come on now!

  • Rest in peace Mr. Burke.

    Thank you for your music.

  • R.I.P. Big Soul!

  • He died today...

  • You will be remembered and this song will be an anthem. RIP

  • Una de las mejores interpretaciones que he escuchado. El tipo es un músico de los mejores, la música es de las mejores, la letra es de las mejores. Aqui hay arte, señores, aqui hay algo más que una canción.

  • Beautiful quality, thanks for the upload!

  • Awsome!
